Negotiation helps the parties to achieve a desirable outcome that benefits all the involved members. In other words, negotiation can be defined as a bargain which means give and take process. The negotiation process involves three principles: the principle of mutual benefit, building relationship, and value for fairness of decision. These principles are required to maintain in order to build trust and loyalty among involved parties. The negotiation process applies three stages: preparation, development, and closing. Effective negotiation strategies include not making the first offer, using silence and time as a tactical resource, bundling, sharing knowledge, and being willing to walk away.
