Determination of the use of training simulators have a positive effect on dump truck operators
safety performance
According to the view of B ARRY (1995) there are various training approach by which
the dump truck operators can improve and enhance their safety measures from which one of the
effective way is training simulators. Training simulators is the crucial way by which different
skills have been acquired, they are most common technique used by the different organisation in
order to gain management skills in the corporate environment. One of the most common problem
face by the sump truck operators are their safety measure. The company should take such
measures by which the employees of the truck operators feel safe. In this type of companies at
where employees needed to operate the truck are working in the hazardous conditions, the people
are not able to interact with the equipment because it is so expensive, inaccessible and
unavailable, the down time is costly and they are needed to change quickly because there is
frequent change in the technology. The organisation need to organise training simulators so the
people can interact with the machinery in the effective manner. Proper interaction is necessary so
that they can take care of several hazards which can be occur when the machinery is not properly
used. In the contradicting view Vaughan, N. and Middleton, (2016) there are various benefits of
the virtual training simulators which have been described by the training operators. They state
that they do not need to damage the machinery in order to make effective learning to the
machinery operators. Virtual learning assisted to the people in learning the different skills
which help the machinery operators to apply in different situation in order to maintain their

safety. The training has positive effect on the dump truck operators so that they can take
measures to keep them safe from the different hazards of the machinery. The various benefits are
it have related to the the low cost alternative which create the full scale physical training
scenario, it is flexible configuration and amenable to ongoing modification and customisation. It
serves large and wide variety to create the virtual scenario which is according to the real life
circumstances. If the situation which is created once, can be used again in order to create
effective training.
As per the view of Suhasini and Suganthalakshmi, (2015) practical application of the
simulation modelling approach that design for constrained haulage system. Management of the
business, is very complex that make desired to enhance available resources to the haulage
system. Design of the such system determines in capable transporting for assess daily capacity
subject to budget limitations. In the present research it has been analysis that haulage system
improve the system through apply simulation and majority of the studies. However, Leite, Cho
and Hwang, (2016) stated that mining is the one of the costly and complicated industries in
which studies has been done for many sections such as geology, canalization, excavation
planning, etc. This is because, haulage system is the significant part in mining which considered
total operating cost which assigned to transportation district.
According to the point of George, (2013), detailed description has been provided towards
haulage system at Sarcheshmeh which is given. Geology and canalization departments initial
segments of the ore production process which undertaken for collecting, analysis and updating
information for safety performances. Diversity between shovels of simulators develop in the
haulage system which considered two way road. All lorry start operations at the loading areas
near the shovel places. On the other hand, Leite, Cho and Hwang, (2016) depict that input data

for this study was collected through personnel within the engineering department. These type of
data can be classified in several aspects such as Shovel loading time, Dumping time, Availability
of Lorry and Shovels, etc. In this way, required data system determines in the context of
distances between the several stations.
Beside this, Dean, (2014) stated that simulation model also applied in the modelling
approaches since there are several stochastic parameters which includes times, loading and
transportation time for our model. Analysis the model and optimizing such as the parameters can
be easily done through simulation approaches. According to the Suhasini and Suganthalakshmi,
(2015), verification is the important which is concerned with building model correctly developed
with assumptions. In the fact, logic of the proposed model examined through conceptual model.
To identify conventional and modern training techniques used by mine to train the new
employees
According to Daut and et.al., (2017) action which is taken by the company in order to
improve skills and efficiency of the employees within the workplace is considered as the
training. As the management uses higher the level of training methods and techniques within
working environment then able to enhance their experience up to the higher extent. This kind of
aspect is used by each and every kind of industry whether it is from mining or any other. The
reason is that it supports to enhance the level of skills of those employees who are working in the
mining. Along with this, different kinds of safety equipment are also introduced to them due to a
reduced level of hazards.
As per the views of Kurymbayev and et.al., (2016) generally two kinds of training
methods are used by the mining firms which are like conventional and modern. Those techniques
which are employed by the entities from last many years are known as the conventional or
3
traditional. On the other side, methods which are introduced in the businesses from last few years
are identified as the modern training approaches. The mining entities used both the methods for
providing effective and effectual training to the new and potential employees. With the help of
such techniques, enterprises able to boost up their level of efficiency within the working
environment.
Hmood and Al-Kindi (2016) ascertained that mining companies implemented
conventional as well as modern approaches within the workplace. In the traditional, the firms
used off the Job training method which is one of the effective and better for the potential
workforce. The technique under which employees are keep away from the actual work
envronment and providing theoretical aspects is known as the off the job training. Under this
various kind of tools involved which are like role-playing, lectures, case studies etc. Apart from
this, it is a highly supportive method for boosting the productivity of the employees and reducing
errors up to the higher level.
However, Pandey, Nanda and Ranjan (2016) argues that the off the job training method
keeps away to the employees from the workplace where they have to perform their duties and
roles. Along with this, when looking at the expense's aspect then it is one of the expensive
methods where financial burden increases. It is a less effective technique for the mining
employees because they require practical and technical training as compared to the theoretical.
Suryawanshi and et.al., (2016) states that mining entities are considering modern methods
also along with the conventional. Further, training simulator approach is executed by the mining
industries for enhancing new employees which is a part of the modern technique. It is a method
of providing training to the new workers in the mining sector in which virtual medium is
