International business 1
Introduction
When we talk about the cultural aspect, the first and the foremost psychologist comes in
our mind, Dr. greets Hofstede who published the cultural dimensions model in 1970s. This
model is helping the people in understanding the cultural differences among various countries.
Hence, the main six dimensions such as power distance, individuality v/s collectivism,
masculinity v/s femininity, uncertainty avoidance index, high or low short-term orientation and
lastly, indulgence v/s restraint. All these aspects are somehow related to the culture and generate
the entire information about any country through graphs and detailed information about the
countries culture (Khlif, 2016).
Similarly, in this report, we are considering three countries one from the Middle East
from that we are considering Saudi Arabia, another from Asia and the country which we are
selecting is India and lastly from Europe and the country is Russia. All these countries lie in the
different sections, hence, their culture will also be different from one another. Then, the second
part of the report highlights about the self-reflection part in which, which countries out of these
three are most likely to be as the United States and which country is not likely as the United
States.
