INTRODUCTION
The Duque Pertiers Gros is stationery business in Northern France whose owner is Donal
Duque. The main objective of his business is built popular customer base which is more than 50
years ago as he does not sell its product to direct consumers. The present report would be
providing brief of overview of Wholesale stationery market in Germany and appropriate analysis
of sales of each item of year 2015 to 2017 with reference to mixed pie chart and scatter plot as
well. This report will be giving graphical analysis of annual spending of 7 European countries
and it will be assessing merits and disadvantages of business expansion in Belgium and Germany
and forecast sales of year 2018 and 2019. Furthermore, it will be specifying international
standards which should be complied by Donald Duque and methods for improving consumer
responsive rate.
2.1 Overview of wholesale stationery market in Germany
The stationery industry is well positioned in Germany. As per trade association for
writing and drawing materials has total turnover which is more than €14.8 billion per year and in
which spending of every individual is equal as €182 annually. Here €35.2 is spent on these
writing and drawing material of Germany as it is second leading position with context of
spending for stationery among various European union countries. The consumers had shown
positive attitude towards companies which comprises in stationery industry as it is more than
70% of brands had increment in sales in year 2015. The association of German stationery brands
has presence of total turnover of this specific industry had attained growth about 3.5% among
year 2014 and 2015. This outcome had been undertaken with increment in domestic and

In the similar aspect, it trends and potentials are in different forms as German stationery

2.3 Analysing sales of last three consecutive years of 2015 to 2017

The Duque's operation in international market of year 2015 to 2017 has essential function
with appropriate explanation of organization. In the present scenario, it has various factors which
are used for setting various objectives. It had been observed that sales of printer cartridges raise
with 4% but in 2017 it had shown negative effect of 15.38%. The main reason behind this was
stated as general office supplies with proper understanding of margin in these two years but at
last it was getting losses. Consequently, low cost printers were increasing by 20% in 2016 but in
2017 it was complacent.
The office furniture's sales had faced increment in 2017 from 8% as shredders cost was
stable in years as after, initial sales Duque practice has faced different complexities.
Furthermore, there was raise in paper based supplies by 8% in 2016 and no change in next year.
The important concern is about writing and drawing material is 20% in 2016 and very small
proportion as 6.67% in 2017. Hence, it could be stated that evolution in 2016 had gained
increment in sales by 10.30% and in 2016 it was -2.20%.
