2. Conducting initial review of the Pitstop Pty Ltd
a. Based on the organisational structure of Pitstop Pty Ltd, it can be said that the
company requires a work health and safety officer.
b. The responsibilities and accountabilities for WHS manager includes understanding
the work health policy of the organisation and proposing strategies for its development
c. The WHS risk management and procedure needs to be focused on the safety of the
employees and the manner in which Pitstop Pty Ltd can achieve it. This includes
understanding the risks that can be involved in the performance of the organisation
d. Documenting and record keeping requirements include strategies that are related to
the implementation of the WHS policies and the records of the employees
e. The training need for the employees is aimed at developing the skills of the
employees based on implementing the WHS policies. The learning capacity of the employees
needs to be developed so that they can understand the WHS policies in details
3. Reviewing summaries of consultation meetings
As per the meeting undertaken with the stakeholders, the concern is mainly on the
fuels spills that may have catastrophic consequences for the environment. At the same time,
lack of training is also a concern for the stakeholders.
4. Supporting the proposal
a. Victorian WHS legal framework consist of maintaining any type of occupational
hazards that are associated with workplace policies. The compensation system of the
employees is a major concern for the Victorian Government (Potter et al. 2017)
