Task 11.1 The concept of professionalism and dual professionalism in education and trainingProfessionalism in education leads to includes a different set of complete skills andinteraction with students, parents and other staff members. The first step in order to becomeprofessional is to get the degree of education and meet the standard criteria. On the other sidedual professionalism are known as both teachers and trainers who are committed to maintainingand developing their expertise in both aspects of their role in making sure the best outcome fortheir students (Cruess, Cruess and Steinert 2016). There are five standards that most professional teacher must have that are as follows:KnowledgeIt is important that teacher must have good understanding related to the curriculum theyteach and the way they transfer that knowledge to learners. For instance, a maths teacher shouldknow the way to work out the math problems and reflect students the way it is associated withlife likewise, counting changes at the grocery shop (Khalili, Hall and DeLuca, 2014). Aware of diversityIt is important for the teacher to understand the significance of diversity so that culturaldifference cannot affect the students learning such as the difference in age, gender, race etc.Along with this teacher should be able to modify all their instruction for supporting the studentswho required special learning needs (Evetts,, 2014).Ability to planFor the teacher, it is important to focus on preparing a short-term and long-term plan onthe basis of curriculum goals. Along with this, they should have proper resources available in theclassrooms. Professional teacher need to understand that learning need to improve so that students canreview quality teaching facility (Powers, White and Jain, 2016). While working in collaborationalso help in improving the skills and knowledge of teachers.1.2 Ways in which own professional values influence own practice in an area of specialismThere are different ways in which own professional can influence own practices. Theprofessional values are known as at the core of standards. Values are basically complex and theywork for shaping like professionals. All values can be reflected through all our professionalrelationship and practices. While carrying out area of specialism it is important to consideredconnection between values and practices. It can be essential part of being critically reflected andenquiring professional (Răducan and Răducan, 2014). There are some core values of professionalsuch responsibility, excellence, integrity, professional duty etc. While providing teaching facilityit is important for professional to follow all the roles and responsibility in an effective manner.Along with this it is also important to ensure that to take feedback from different sources in orderto make improvement, Apart from this professional should also try to make continuousimprovement in work so that students can quality teaching facilities. It is important forprofessional to follow ethical principle and standard such as fairness in doing work, truthfulnesswhile speaking etc. Task 22.1 Ways in which social, political and economic factors influence education policyStork and Walker, 201 5observe that there is significant impact on the educational policyand education system of a nation can be impacted because of the different factors that arepolitical, social and technology and economy. Through developing an efficient education policy,it will become easy to carry out education in an effective manner (Renz, and Herman, 2016). Thereare many countries who are highly recognised for their high-quality education standard andexcellence in academic’s. The UK’s education and policy focus on removing inequality andpromoting diversity in an educational institution. In order to develop a professional approach,practical oriented learning and self-approaches play a significant role in order to develop theirknowledge and skills.
