1. Discuss the relationship between an airport master plan and the environment.
The environment tends to have a great impact while making the master plan for the
airport. In this context, the airport can be seen at the airport for the transportation facility and
even the airport nuisance problem. the noise is considered to the unwanted sound that has a huge
bad effect on the physical, social, psychological and wellbeing of the individual. The noises are
generally generated through engines of the airplanes and during the time of landing and flying
(Authority, 2014). Hence, while making the making, the place or the area in which the airport
should be constructed must be noted. It must be far away from the place of inhabits so that it
does not cause problems in the ears of humans. The releases from the aircraft both the ground
level and even in the attitude tend to have a negative effect in the quality of the air, climate and
the ozone layer.

4. Think of an environmental issue not covered in the chapter reading. Define it, explain
why it is an issue, and determine what you would do as a planner to avoid it from becoming
a major issue
The wastage of water and effluents is another problem that needs to be considered.
The water of the Airport runoffs is considered a significant source of pollution as
they have a huge amount of chemicals and toxic substances.
As a planner of the airport, surface and groundwater quality monitoring, sampling at the
points of discharge must be incorporated.
5. The U.S. spends countless ********s on the Environmental Protection Agency and
publishing a myriad of documents to regulate the environment. Knowledge of the National
Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), corresponding FAA orders, and their relationship to
airport planning and design is critical to an airport in order to avoid civil penalties.
I******** amount ********cus placed on the environment justified? Defend your answer.
It is very important for the US to spend countless amount of pennies on the
environmental protection agency and on regulating a myriad of documents to regulate the
