Introduction
The wireless and mobile communication will be briefly reviewed in this article. Wireless
connection mostly used in technology of radio and infrared. There are lot of system having
wireless communication through which data, video, voice could be transmitted in wide or local
areas (Hossain et al., 2014). There are wireless technologies that provide services for voice and
data communication for the mobile users having internet terminals, cell phones, PDAs and
devices that are related to computing. Today, it can be seen that wireless devices of mobile is
increasing globally (Campbell, 2015). The data rates are higher for wireless systems as it
supports the internet and other applications that are related to data. The users are mostly
equipped with PDAs (personal digital assistants), portable computers, a devices having wireless
communication that need to connect to the corporate networks, exchange messages, perform the
queries of the database, transfer files and participate in the collaborative computing. Higher data
rates could be achieve through wireless system that support application related to data.
Discussion (why, what, where, who, when)
Charles Sumner Tainter and Alexander Graham Bell invented wireless communication.
At that time, it was not in much use (Upadhyay & Dwivedi, 2014). When electromagnetic waves
were demonstrated by Heinrich Hertz which has significantly develop wireless communication.
Now wireless communication encompasses cellular or mobile phone networks or else broadband
telephony and internet that are wireless.
Wireless communication is a data communication that is wirelessly performed and
delivered. Through the use of wireless signal more than two devices are usually getting

connected to wireless communication devices and technologies. The electromagnetic signals are
used for wireless communication for broadcasting the devices within the atmosphere, physical
environment or air (Kearns, 2016). The wireless signals can be propagated from the sending
devices to the intermediate devices. The devices having signals that receive and send information
though wireless signals.
Wireless communications provide the most important update and provide an overviews
about the principles of wireless technology (Clarke, 2014). The types of wireless communication
system are
 Bluetooth
 Satellite Communication
 GPS
 Mobile phone system
 Infrared Communication
 WLAN
Mobile and wireless are two different systems. A wireless system provides a portable or
fixed endpoint that has access to the distributed network. On the other hand, mobile system
provided resources of the distributed network that bare some issues for the coverage area of
technical or local reception.
Advantages
The advantages of the technology that has wireless and mobile communication includes

 The Down Time is less: There are clients who are connected to many of the business
professionals and associates through cellular devices. Owners of small business, business
managers and professionals always call the clients to reach the business professionals
through emails, text, or cellular phone calls. The tools of mobile communication make
the business easier or burden.
 Safety Concerns: The devices of mobile communication could be dangerous. Due to
distraction of hand-held mobile devices driving is not as safe as it could be. Distraction of
devices could cause difficulty in safely crossing or driving a car.
 Sharing of information: Through a single network of computer people could get
connected from all over the world that has helped in broadening the internet
communication channels (Molisch & Tufvesson, 2014). Before the development of the
communication devices, some information need to get transported to computer that are
sent over the internet. Information could be share instantly by the business professional
that has hand-held communications devices no matter where the vendors and clients are.
Photographs and messages can be shared by friends instantly being having to wait to log
into the computer.
 Emergencies: In emergency cases, the devices of mobile communication are helpful.
When there is a need of emergency authorities there is a need of wireless cellular phone
to communicate (Wang et al., 2016). The hikers could take mobile devices for
communication and track the system using the GPS.
 Wireless Frequency Penetrates: The wireless frequency penetrates through the walls;
installation of wireless network is easier based upon the choice of the user. The benefits

of such flexibility for a wireless network where installation of the wired cable is not
possible.
 Installation and Maintenance: It is easier to install and maintain a wireless network in
comparison to wired counterparts. This helps in growing the network in order to get
thousands of customers.
Disadvantages
The disadvantages of Wireless and Mobile Communication are:
 Earlier the wireless network is slower. There are advanced standards of wireless LANs
with IEEE 802.11 ac and 802.11 ad which are available to perform traditional Ethernet
based LANs (Liu et al., 2016).
 At the starting phase of the installation, planning is requiring for the radio frequency of
the wireless networks.
 With subject to wireless communication interference, the receiver and modulation
techniques make interference of the wireless system robust.
Recommendation/Suggestions
It is recommended to be familiar with the capabilities and risks that are associated with
wireless network protocol. It would be better to gain practical understanding of wireless and
mobile communication technology. There are different types of network. Thus, it is
recommended to use the concept of mobility management. Use of Antennas to generate power
and energy from radio waves. Getting multiple access to cellular network would be a greater
advantage. As it includes FDMA, TDMA, CDMA and SDMA. There is certain level of

satisfaction being provided to people. Thus, suggesting them to study the existence of mobile
communication and wireless networking. It would be better is services are being provided to
every house or industry to increase the demand of wireless and mobile communication.
Conclusion
The paper conclude that telecommunication and networking has generated changes in
wireless internet. Wireless network provides many advantages. Wireless network gets connected
to all wireless devices and the performance is great in everything from media streaming to
printing. It is safe and secure. Wireless and mobile communication frees us from tethering of the
Ethernet cable. It is easier flexible and faster to use. Many people dive into wireless and mobile
communication. A detail discussion has been done regarding the wireless and mobile
communication of when it was invented for what purpose it is use. It also provides information
on how it can be use in easy way.
