Executive Summary
This report will be focusing on the research over the application of the wireless
technology within the enterprises and analysing the reliability and the future aspect of the
technology. Wireless technology has become the integral part of the present world and the
operational activities are being delivered in an efficient and effective manner. This report will
be analysing the different perspectives of the scholar writers over the adoption and current
application of the wireless technology. It is an emerging and innovative technology and
hence, the future application of the wireless technology has many scope and it is being
estimated that the wireless network will be deployed within every enterprise of the
organization.
Introduction to research domain
Wireless technology allows the exchange of the data and information between two or
more interconnected devices wirelessly and allowing both the end users to avail the better
services. In the present scenario, most of the industries are availing the services of the
wireless technology however, speed and security has been the major concerning factor in this
adoption. The wireless technology (Wi-Fi) can be considered as the least secured network in
manner to operate the operational activities and deliver them in an efficient and effective way
through fast and smooth exchange of the data and information.
Research question
This paper will be mainly based on the analysis of the current application of the
wireless technologies and to identify the answers of the following research questions:
How efficient could be the wireless technology for the enterprises?

What are the factors those could restrict the enterprise form accessing the network at low
speed?
What are the future implications of the wireless technology?
Literature Review
Wireless technology can allow the enterprise to communicate between the different
branches even situated at distant part. Wireless communication establishment cost much less
than the wired network and thus, the enterprise could gain the benefits of accomplishing the
same operational activity at low budget with and assurance of availability of the data and
information exchange medium (Aral, Dellarocas & Godes, 2013). Wi-Fi (Wireless fidelity)
allows the efficient and smooth exchange of the data and information within the enterprises
and contribute in the smooth and reliable communication between the internal staffs and the
consumers who are connected with the organization. This include the application of the
technologies such as Big Data, IoT, cloud computing and many others. Can and Sahingoz
(2015) claimed that wireless technology has changed the face of the entire world and the
medium of the communication between different individuals. The users can also access the
same data and information in the mobile devices via connecting to the internet using wireless
technology. It is a cost effective approach for the management of the data and information
exchange and assuring that the enterprise manages and delivers all the necessary objective
delivery (Makwana et al., 2013). The enterprises are adopting the BYOD adoption in manner
to assure that the organizations are always connected to the organization and processing the
ongoing collected data and information (Nugroho & Sahroni, 2014). The enterprises have
been gaining enhancement in the output and production through establishing of the wireless
network within the existing environment in manner to assure that the efficient and effective
exchange of the information could be gained. This technology can differ considering the

ranges between the branches and different offices of the enterprise. The organization need to
manage the operational activities through the exchange of different types of the media
including emails, images, video, documents, and many more (Camps-Mur, Garcia-Saavedra
& Serrano, 2013). Wi-Fi can make this happen. Johns and Gratton (2013) mentioned that Wi-
Fi is the most applicable technology within the different sectors of the present world and it is
being estimated that in future, it will be playing major role in the deployment of the smart
cities, smart homes, and smart world (Chen et al., 2016). However, the medium is not
immune to external attacks and thus, privacy and security is the major concern in the
development and establishment of the network that allow the flow and exchange of the
personal and sensitive data and information.
Discussion/Analysis
The above literature review explains the broad application of the Wi-Fi and how
much operational activities could be delivered using this technology. There are many
advantageous factors associated with the adoption of the Wi-Fi within the existing
environment of the organization. It allows the large number audiences to be connected with
the network and allow them to exchange the data and information in an efficient and effective
manner. However, despite of the beneficial approaches, there are certain privacy and security
issue that can alternatively influence the impact of the Wi-Fi adoption. These factors could
possibly limit the adoption of the WSNs considering the management and delivery of the
daily operational activities.
Findings
Following answers have been identified after analysing the literature on the adoption
and application of the Wi-FI within enterprises:

It is highly efficient as it can allow higher speed and exchange of the heavy load of
data and information at a single instance. The enterprise could possibly adopt this technology
for the management of the data and information exchange throughout the enterprise network.
What are the factors those could restrict the enterprise form accessing the network at low
speed?
The network speed could be limited due to many factors including the interference,
physical obstacle, low bandwidth, old hardware, and many more. The speed could be increase
through using the unique channel: that will be eliminating the issue of interference, location
of routers: so that every device get the full strength network, updated hardware and other
firmware.
What are the future implications of the wireless technology?
It is being estimated that the future world will be acquiring and utilizing the wireless
technology for the management and delivery of most of the daily operational activities.
Conclusion
It can be concluded that the Wi-Fi do possess the capability of managing the data and
information exchange within the different branches and the individuals associated with the
organization. The Wi-Fi can assure that the management and delivery of the daily operational
activities of the organization are being managed in an efficient and effective manner. The
security will be the major concern in the adoption of this technology that can manage and
deliver the necessary operational activities in an efficient and effective way.
