Introduction
The term wireless network is defined as the computer network which utilizes wireless
interconnection between networks and devices. It is an advanced version of wired networks
that has the capability for refining the presentation of the communication system. By using
such kind of technology users can connect two or more devices with each other and exchange
data or signals over a network. The aim of the investigation is to analyse the idea of wireless
communication and systems and review the research papers based on wireless networks. The
title of one article is “Emerging Technologies and Research Challenges For 5g Wireless
Networks” and other is “Next Generation 5G Wireless Networks: A Comprehensive Survey”.
The major focus of this investigation is to analyse the results and key findings of both these
research papers. The outline of this study includes numerous sections, for example,
description of the methodologies, comparison of results, advantages and disadvantages of the
articles and future directions.

Article 1: EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND RESEARCH CHALLENGES FOR
5G WIRELESS NETWORKS
This research paper was written by Woon Hau, Zhong and Russell which is based on
the 5th generation of wireless networks (Chin, Fan, & Haines, 2014). The major focus of this
research paper is to identify the challenges occurred in 5G wireless networks and evaluates
heterogeneous networks. According to the investigators, 5G is an advanced generation of
communication technology which is used for sending and receiving data over long distance
using internet connectivity.
In the future generation, the 5G technology will change the way of communication
and reduce the drawbacks of the 4G wireless technologies (Wang, et al., 2914). Therefore,
the researcher believes that 5G technology will contain manifold linked communiqué values
and provide effective communication to the consumers (Maccartney, Rappaport, Sun, &
Deng, 2015). In this research study, the authors identified various technologies which will
improve the effectiveness of future wireless networks. Moreover, the researchers also
evaluated the status of several wireless standards which includes 3 GPP, IEEE 802.11 and
M2M.
