7. At 1:30 AM Tuesday Morning, I was at Blacktown Railway Station with Stella Ling and
Chen Cheng. I was on the train with my friends waiting to get off at the station and saw
two males walking through the train carriage making a racist remark which was
directed at my friends and me.
8. There were two security guards in the carriage at that moment, but I was too scared to
report anything.
9. I got off Blacktown station with Stella and Chen and we were skateboarding down the
ramp, as we turned to the corner, the group of men confronted us while making racist
remarks continuously. We were terrified and my friends wanted to run but the group
prevented them. It is at this point that one of the men who had a bald head started
hitting me. The other men followed suit and assaulted my friends. Being defenseless,
they took advantage and snatched our bags that had phones and laptops as well as
money.
10. Realising that the situation was getting out of hand, I managed to fight away the bald-
headed man. I was chased by the other 5 individuals who caught up with me and threw
me against the wall. My head hit the hard wall and this was followed by more kicks and
blows to my belly and the whole body. Their military boots and fists with rings made me

feel a lot of pain. Chen and Stella were also being mercilessly beaten up by the other
three men.
11. I pleaded with them to leave us, but this fell into deaf ears. My efforts were futile with
more slander and racist remarks still coming from them. One of them dressed in a
yellow short was laughing at me while the rest kicked.
12. I noted that most of them had the name “Skins” at the back of their Jean Jackets. As
such, I guessed that this must be a gang with a team leader. Amongst them, there was
a tall Caucasian man with a long jacket. He did not do much while the others assaulted
and stole from us. After pleading with him, he instructed the other men to stop beating
us up. By this time, all our bags were with them and we were left empty handed.
13. The men left. Chen was crying while Susan was speechless. I managed to stand
amidst all the pain. I can vividly remember one of the men with a beard insulting and
hitting Chen mercilessly.
14. At this point, we all bags were snatched from us. Inside them were laptops worth
$3500, phones worth $1500, money totaling $800, books worth $1200, earrings,
necklaces, and an extra pair of shoe, credit/debit cards and a tablet worth $1200.
