hiring all the staff members as it can help to assure their safety and
wellness.

It is very important to use all the health and safety control equipment
relevant to the work according to the given instructions as it can help
to ignore any type of negative situation which may take place due to
ignorance of instruction. If the entities will not follow the instructions

and associated equipment. the organisations as it is required to meet the rules and regulations of
legal authorities regarding the safety and security at work.

There are various types of health, safety, welfare legislation and
warning signs that are required to be followed by all the entities. All
of them are relevant with wood occupation because if all of them will
not be followed then it will be very difficult to maintain health and
safety of all the staff members and the individuals who are working at
sites.

It is very important for all the entities to comply with control
measures that have been identified by risk assessments and safe
systems of work. In order to comply with them the professionals are
required to understand the control measures and analyse the way in
which all of them could be applied.

2.5 State how changing
circumstances within the
workplace could cause hazards. If all the circumstances within the work place will be changing
continuously then it may cause hazards. When all of them will be
changing then it will leave impacts upon health and well being of
individuals working within the entity. For example, if the staff
members will not be able to handle unmaintained equipment then it
will result in hazards for them.
2.6 State the methods used for
reporting changed
There are various types of methods that are used for the purpose of
reporting circumstances, hazards and incidents at workplace. All of

them are toolbox talks, updated risk assessment, consultation, site
meetings and feedback. With the help of all of them the senior
managers will be able to report all the circumstances, hazards and
incidents at workplace.

Monthly check ups for all the staff members as it is focused
with health of all the employees.
First aid kit arrangements for the employees and the element
which is focused while formulating this policy is safety at
workplace.
3.7 State the appropriate types of
fire extinguishers relevant to the
work.
There are various types of fire extinguishers which are as
follows:
Class a: With the help of it fire could be put out in ordinary
combustibles like paper and wood.
Class b: This type of extinguisher is used on flammable
liquids like oil, grease and gasoline.
Class c: It is used for such types of fire which may take place

because of electricity.
Class d: All the inflammable metals which may catch fire due
to any circumstances could be put out with the help of this
extinguisher.

types of fire extinguishers are
used in accordance with
legislation and official guidance.
There four different types of fire extinguishers which could be used
for different types of fire. All of them are required to be used
according to their nature. For example, if type a will be selected by
the entities then it could only be used for dealing fire which is related
to wood and paper. When the c type of extinguisher will be used then
it could only be used for such fire which may take place because of
electricity. According to governmental legislation all the
organisations are required to keep fire extinguisher at workplace
because all of them can help to deal with any type of hazards which
may take place in future

with the environmental requirements of workplace so that safety and
security could be assured.
