and more popularity. The discussions include one of its main advantages, which is the fact that it

towards the betterment of their experience as well as their proficiency in handling the

industry experience, the understanding of the particular requirements of placements, undertaking

industries. The chosen company that has provided such a basis that has been used in this study is
the Diagnostic & Medical Pty limited, which is a medical and pharmaceutical organization. The
firm has a proud history of providing their customers with the best possible service. The
consumers and customers that it possesses range from individual people buying one off products
to the high post officials of giant multinational corporations. It has achieved a respectable
position in the healthcare industry of its region (Diagnostic & Medical. 2017).
The firm is also a very trusted supplier of medical and pharmaceutical products to many
giant corporations. The various quality checking processes that are part of the overall process of
deployment of the products have indeed been observed to have played a very important role in

the good reviews that the chosen financial entity receives. The chosen firm also provides help to
people from all walks of life to find the specific products that they require in certain
circumstances and situations (Kehoe & Wright, 2013). It has prioritized making sure that the
products and healthcare items that it provides to the people in need are of top quality and
maintenance value. Health problems that the customers may face are also provided with adequate
and lasting solutions, with a well defined and basic system of negotiation. The solutions are all in
accordance with the medically cleared compilations. The problem-solving methods are also all
medically and clinically approved without any use of agents such as chiropractors.
According to Haslam et al. (2014), the chosen company has provided its industry with
several benefits and basis of functioning, with a well-defined system of overcoming the business
constraints. From all the aforementioned services and benefits that it accords to its customers
and its industry as a whole to the good reputation that it has garnered over the years, hard work
and proper personnel training for work based learning under learned supervisors are among the
responsible factors. The research program that has successfully maintained its high standards of
meeting quality standards and product sourcing is a direct result of the good training that the
chosen firm has accorded to its trainees and employees.
1.2 Negotiations during experience of work with superiors and supervisors: (M1, D2)
There are undoubtedly moments of interactions between the superiors and their team
members. The workers and trainees in the chosen firm have been observed to have a good
method of interaction with their seniors.
The personnel is generally very apt when it comes to the management of the timing of interaction
(Mingers & Willmott, 2013). The meetings are generally held in order to meet the convenience
of both the parties. The juniors are also generally very well prepared before the allocated
meeting time, having done their proper research on the topic and providing expressive
suggestions and evaluations on the topic of interest.
The work environment of the chosen corporation has ruled that both the parties should be
able to keep appropriate control of their emotions. The firm keeps a very strict view in this
regard, with violations of this rule being punishable. The general meetings have the aim of a

neutral point of view towards the topic or project of interest from both the bosses as well as their
juniors (Siemens, 2014).
The aforementioned research of the topic enables the workers to put forth their arguments
on the basis of concrete and proven facts and proper examples. The added values and delivered

the chosen company, in general, have also been observed to possess the good quality of putting
themselves in the shoes of their seniors. They think of the ideas based on how much mutually
beneficial they can be.

factors lead to good interactions and negotiations between the workers and their superiors in the
chosen organization.

Needless to say, the firm faces issues and challenges in the fulfillment of its work. The
organizational structure and working are generally in a stressful and pressurized manner
(Enguix, 2014). The company tries to take measures of easing the work stress by creating an
efficiently working system, which has been observed to be partially successful.
The firm completely avoids bad first impressions, which not only lead to the loss of the
concerned customer, but also the potential consumers that can be informed of so-called bad
processing by the former. The big size and multiple services that sometimes have to be
simultaneously delivered in very efficient manners can be potential constraints. Proper division
of allocated responsibilities and the development of efficient communication system, both in and
out of the organization, is the effective counter to the problem.
The hurdles of improper negotiations can effectively be overcome using personnel
training and development of efficient communication methods (Lee, Singal & Kang, 2013). The
overcoming of the business constraints remains the top priority of the company.

2.1 Tasks and responsibilities: (M2, D2)
In the healthcare sector, every individual is assigned with a lot of tasks and
responsibilities. As the nature of the work and the characteristics segregate their work parameters
accordingly. Thus, in order to meet the challenging deadlines, there is the continuous
requirement of application of the essential tools to enhance the learning. Lange, et al. (2015) has
said well that the new learning methods if applied well in the company help to meet up the
changes made as per the latest technology. As looking forward to work in the healthcare area I
have sorted out certain set out of learning methods.
Firstly, to apply the organization theory well its means and practice. As this theory,
stressed on the practices that help in prioritizing of the work for every professional especially in
the health concerned segment. It is utmost important to prioritize as there are frequent chances of
emergencies always an alarming stage. The common blunders such as the solutions delay,
misuse of various resources or even the skilled persons such as qualified staff. As per designing
and asserting the work in a proper sequence helps to meet up the emergencies that keep up
coming in the hospital. It even further helps in the bringing up of the efficiency to a next level.
Secondly, the application of the technique such as the tracking the records of the service users
ultimately helps to understand the criteria and provide adequate services that are obligatory to
give. In addition to the provision of the services, it also helps in the ease in the pressure that is
created at the time of discharge of products (Jackson, 2015). Thirdly, to update all the records
that consists of the supply of products in respect of the critical patient's data. All the information
should be set in proper sequence and update the same.
2.2 Achievement of objectives through work experience: (M2, D2)
There are a quite number of the objectives that are able to fulfill by the professionals as on
the work experience they acquire. As in this area apart from the learning of the knowledge
acquired from the colleges and books, there is much need of the practical experience. For
example, if someone simply knows the procedure to perform a research but has never done on

the practical grounds cannot be relied completely. Thus, on seeing the importance of the practical
knowledge I have framed a proper plan to implement the guidelines given by the Massachusetts
plan for the same. Initially, as per the arrangement, the description of all the work performed
needs to be duly described well. For example, the challenges or any consequences of the
performed task needs to proper account (Webster, Smith, & Smith, 2016). As by accounting it
helps to keep a proper trail for the same, it helps both the individual and the entity well.
Further, my plan continues ahead to identify well the available sources to ease out
pressure and the range of the same. It is often found that the folks working together face a
common issue that they are not able to properly balance both their personal and professional life
(Bölsche, Klumpp, & Abidi, 2013). Thus, with the help of the identification of the sources such
as taking help from the seniors or the concerned persons. For example, if there is a particular
case of the cancer patient, then to seek advice from anyone who is a specialist of the same or has
handled such scenario before as to what kinds of products to provide. Even to take help from the
published journals that are provided by the industry with respect to the solutions provided by the
experts.
2.3 Analysis of the benefits: (M2, D1)
All the proposed that are sorted in the plan can drive tremendous benefits. The results can be
clearly seen both from as an individual as well as the entity. The important ones are to achieve
the elevated hold from the customers of the products. This gradually helps in providing the right
products in context with the problems. For example, as per the customer support, the company
can identify the needs of the consumers, say if there is any heredity disease and they are looking
for a solution for the same. The organization can develop and research on the problems faced by
the masses within the society (Freeman, et al. 2014). A detailed research helps even to serve the
society not from the region, but also across the other geographical boundaries.
Then by identification of the sources of time can help me to provide easily a depth analysis
of the critical cases as well as the solutions for the same. Gregory & Thorley (2013) have
mentioned well that with the resources such as knowledge or recommendations that are given by

3.1 Fulfillment of the specific requirements: (M1, D1)
There are certain parameters that are essential to be fulfilled in accordance with the
placement. The work experience helps to fulfill all the criteria and act accordingly. From the
organization, there are predefined parameters such as the ability to explore the new technology
that can be applied well to provide the solution. The application of the same as its purpose, to
make it more cost effective, which means to reduce the costs of the solutions that are provided.
Further, the application of the processes needs to get clearance on the ethical and medical
grounds by the government (Zhang & Allen, 2015). Then in order to get placement the
individual should be reluctant well. For example, the being should be able to take decisions
according to the situations and not only as per the guidelines were given.
There are the certain set of laws that are determined and formed as per the requirements
that constantly come within the commerce. The Code and the Practice of the same that has been
provided by the Australian government have covered well the details as well the course of action
that needs to be undertaken. Firstly, the provision to safeguard the individuals by providing
them the details and the important steps that need to be following especially while dealing with
the equipment. Thus by following the guiding principles the chances of the errors as well as the
fear of breaking of law are minimized (Brenker, 2014). Even by providing the continuous
training the professionals and their ability to provide the better solutions can improve.
3.2 Systematic work records: (M2, D2)
There are in strength of the number of the works performed being the professional within the
entity since a long time. Throughout the time of employment, there is always been a well-
maintained record that comprises all the details and the challenges of the same. Effective tools
have been used such as the spreadsheets which comprise of the daily reports that have always
been submitted to the immediate supervisor at the end of the day. Then after the end of the week,
the last working day of the entire week another sheet that consists of the details of the tasks
perform in the entire week. This sheet is commonly referred as the weekly report. Then on the
completion of the month, a monthly report submitted to the supervisor and the administrative

department. With the reports made on the spreadsheets and send to the concerned persons has
helped me in the keeping of the records for the self-analysis. In addition to the self-analysis, the
supervisor can even trail of the work and take actions accordingly.
Further, the use of the portfolio method was done well. The portfolio method comprises of
the allocation of the weight age of the area in which the tasks were performed (Siemens, 2014).
For example, the research area at times is critically evaluated well say sixty percent of the work
comprises of it. Then say twenty percent of the work in the portfolio relates to the segregation of
the details and another twenty percent by the supply of the products to the various hospitals.
From this analysis, the clearance from the management in respect with the growth is obtained.
As well as the important areas are covered truly. This helps in the employee overall growth in the
performance. Then with the help of the logbooks, and the dairies helps in the team division in
their work. Finally, all the records and the tools have helped in achieving the stated deadlines
within the timeframe.
3.3 Meeting of specific objectives based on the plan: (M3, D3)
Sequentially, as per the change in the scenario that the industry experiences, the plan formed
earlier needs some sort of necessary revisions. The important change that needs to be made as
the change of research pattern has been done demanded by the sector. The investigation done
earlier on the application has come up with some sort of problems. For instance say, when on
the problem of the accidents, there is the requirement of the more number of the first aid is
gradually increased (Savery, 2015). Thus such emergencies need to be accounted well before
hand and remedial actions taken accordingly.
The changes will reflect that as the changes in the number of the practical application. This
position is done especially during laboratory tests conducted on the frequent basis. The more the
number of the test the appropriate results can be obtained. Further, the records maintenance
needs to be improved well (Hambrick & Quigley, 2014). The minutes and the recording of the
same needs to done at every step. This is achieved by the accuracy as well as the correlation
with the administrative department. As with the coordination with the administrative
department, the symmetry in both the personal and professional life is done easily.

3.4 Suggestions for improvement: (M3, D1)
For the benefits, based on my observation I have observed with certain sort of suggestions
that can help overall. The proposal was made by me to the concerned senior as well as the
auxiliary to the board at the meeting. The proposal was made on the problems that were
repeatedly faced by me as working professional and the colleagues working together. Firstly, the
problem that those individuals are recruited who lack in both training and experience. After
recruitment, these individuals were assigned with their duties. Thus this scenario increased to the
lot number of troubles. The main ones were that the deadlines were not able to meet on time. The
quality of the services and the work even got deteriorate. This deterioration creates the decrease
in the number of the clients such as hospitals, the associations, the day care units etc. As a result
of all of the above, the profits were turned into losses too.
The grassroots of the entire problem was identified and the solution was provided
accordingly. S in while recruitment the folks even if recruited were fresher's needs to undergo
training provided separately. This training should the minimum of handling of the three months
time period. As in with this time the folks are trained well of handling the equipment, the
software's that the firm used in its day to day operations.
LO4: Evaluation and monitoring of learning and performance
Task 4
4.1 Job progress monitoring: (M3, D1)
After making the proposal to the board about the changes, the problems that were faced
by me were sorted out easily. As a result, a positive outcome came out as an improvement in my
performance as well as the entity too. The performance was monitored with the help of the
framed tools. The important ones that have helped are named as the performance indicators.
These helped to supervise the performance well, as the benchmarks are there which categorizes
the performance and rate accordingly. This rating is done with the help of the scorecards and the
evaluated results are then acted (Jenter& Kanaan, 2015). The measurement is based on the
presentation obtained as a result if any problems were able to resolve immediately.

performance, as the same are anticipated by the progress not only in the terms of the firm but as
well as per the market performance. The main point in this tool that covers well is that the
practice needs to be cost effective. As, the tasks fulfilled especially while undergoing research as
well as the examination to provide solutions all needs to be cost effective (Bandodkar, et al.
2014). The cost is one of the most important factors that need to be well considered as if the
costs are too high then the solutions cannot be adopted by the masses.
4.2 Performance Quality evaluation: (M1, D1)
The performance and the evaluation of the work done by me are done by following the set of
procedure. In order to get desired results and without any biases, the qualities are the parameters
are judged upon. The qualities that were weighing up were mainly the ability to handle the
emergencies. As in this sector, this is the most desired attributable looked. The same was
judged by the standard or the help of the ratings done. For example, the solutions provided
accordingly are in respect with the number of the cases and the solutions. The benchmark needs
to be fulfilled. Then the quality of the performance was judged by the errors and the number
(Estampe, et al. 2013). The entire practical performance to be done evaluated on critical
parameters that depend on the type of the practical application. Lee, Singal, & Kang, (2013) have
said well that even if there are any errors are there or not needs to be well categorized as on the
type whether minor or the major. Then the error is big or small, and if happens on the repeated
mode, then the solutions for the same needs to be the class out.
4.3 Work experience reflection: (M2, D3)
Based on the experience, there were certain observations that came out. The major ones are
that the necessity of the new technology that needs to be updated within the firm. As the there
are various changes that are continuous in the respect of the expertise. The expertise helps to
drive the cost efficiency level along with the productivity with the quality. The application of the
same even leads to the saving of the time. There is a room of crisis that is constant so in
accordance with those the management continuously looks and works on for strategies. There is
a room for the feedback taken randomly by all the individuals presented in the firm on the stated
date.

There were numerous learning outcomes obtained as in the experience acquired while
working in the chosen entity. As a result, my own skills get enhanced. I was able to improve the
vocation well and improve the quality for the same. The time which earlier was taken by me got
reduced by the implementation of the new software named Enterprise Resource and its planning
methods. The plan and the pathway ay has helped to even incorporate well the wherewithal that
comprises of both the monetary and the nonmonetary terms. The monetary terms include the
profits figures which are very well covered in the balance sheet and the other financial
statements. The other necessity figures which ultimately help in raising the funds by the public
are also made easily and presented to the public.
4.4 Recommendations for enhancement of work experience: (M3, D1)
There are certain areas which need to work upon, as they are the neglected by the
management. These areas will basically help the company to compete with the other existing
firms in the market. In sequence with those first comes the lack of discipline. There is no
discipline followed by the staff at any level within the organization. The discipline as it means
that there should be appropriate time is required to be maintained as in while coming to the
office. This discipline encounters both the working hours that each employee is bound to
maintain and the type of the work. Then the feedback should be made regular as the feedback
taken by the firm is neither regular nor measures are taken accordingly. At least there must be
once in a month review of the same should be done. Then the communication networks within
the firm need to be strong. As the lack of the communication leads to chaos and other problems
within the firm that are faced by the management rapidly. Then the process should be designed
in the way where the duties are dispersed as per considering the individual front. On the
dispersion of the tasks properly, there are fewer chances of the errors. The quality should also be
focused well on the dealing important matters. The benchmarks with the help of the indices must
be checked well. The index helps in the judging of the various behavioral aspects too.
Conclusion:
It is concluded that in this study, the work based and the experience acquired is important
within the organization and the performance of the individual too. The entire assignment has

very well recognized that there are plentiful resources that need to be properly assessed in order
to enhance the capital well. Then as a professional working in the firm the duties, tasks, and
responsibilities performed well are sorted out. Then based on the experience acquired well the
plans formed accordingly in order to accomplish the deadlines. The suggestions that are
necessary for the firm on the accounts of the improvement well are covered. The use of the
tools, techniques helps in the analysis of the performance of the work and evaluating them
critically on all the grounds. In the continuance ahead the reflections based on the experience
and the analysis of the observations are covered along with the important recommendations.
Thus, it is concluded work based experience is mandatory for the overall growth of the
organization.
