Work-based learning is advert to the strategy of education that provides The Scholars real life
experience. In the real life experience or these education scholars the individual get a chance to
apply their academic and Technical skill in order to enhance their employability. Also it will
provide Scholars the chance to exam what they are acquired in the classroom. Workplace
learning help the scholars in their development and growth process in also support them to learn
the things which are connected to the real world (Gould and Taylor, 2017). This report is going
to considered Park Plaza Hotel it is a very luxurious hotel situated in 628, Western Ave, London
United Kingdom. This portfolio will going to covered plan initiated projects which are connected
with the objectives and evaluate analysis the life cycle of project. Furthermore the support is
going to evaluate the reflection of learning and experience with the different structure.

Park Plaza Hotel it is a very luxurious hotel situated in 628, Western Ave, London United
Kingdom. Park Plaza is a resort and international hotels which is known as just park plaza. It is it
Hotel chain which operates several and different Hotel groups and franchise. It was founded in
1986 as a organization and adopted by Olympus real estate in 1997. The parent organization of
Park Plaza Hotel is Radisson Hotel group. Park Plaza is an upper upscale hotel and individually
designed their hotels in the vibrant City Centre location in order to get more opportunities.
Planned and initiated the project
In regards with Park Plaza the authorities of the company is make plan to initiate the project
by influencing the current situation of covid-19. The organization is making structure and
strategies to innovate new technologies in order to cater effective experience and facilities to
their guest. They launch ‘Robotics butler’ as in their branch of London full stop these robots
include a combination of sensor connectivity and Wi-Fi to interact or communicate with the
hotel software and navigate from the rooms without any issues and obstacles.
Set target in regards with new project ‘robotics butler’s’ project is giving several kinds of
effective services and facility towards the consumers and satisfied them by providing
innovative Technologies (Wall, Tran and Soejatminah, 2017).The main prominence is
grabbing huge number of consumers and the audience who want more innovative services
and who are more interested towards the company.
Aims and objectives the key objectives of these the portfolio is to cater effective experience
and facility to the customer in order to secure them from these pandemic.Moreover, it will
provide assistance to the company in order to attract and create a huge customer base by
bringing and adopting more innovative techniques. Also it will develop the sales and

improve the profitability of the hotel and give the opportunity to create effective and
potential image in the Marketplace.

Project life cycle is a process which adverts to the series of phases which a project faces in
order to become a successful. It also define that the procedure of a project from beginning to
the end. The procedure of project life cycle defines high-level process for transferring a
project that is effective and successful. Project life cycle for project management process
will help the company to improve their productivity and save their money from wastage.
Park in plaza hotels are adopting new projects for their upcoming situation like contactless
Hotel check in ,inside services, check in, checkouts ,because of covid-19 pandemics (Nurmi
and Hinds, 2016. This will make the customer feel more secure and make them assure about
their security purpose and they feel more valuable in the hotel premises. To monitored and
evaluate the progress of the project, few points are mentioned below:
Project initiation: developing idea is not very sufficient to start any project. to start factor
project it requires proper planning in order to make the project successful without facing any
issues and risk factor in the project. The project management analyzing and evaluating the
information which is mentioned in project planning. Then they authorize the task in the
information which is required for completing a project. This report is going to describe the
target mission vision in objective of the project full stop in regards with Park Plaza Hotel the
organization are required to examine about the all risk factors and circumstances which can
create impact on the project.
The planning phase: this page described about the how project has to be operate and
perform and how it will get the success. The planning phase considered two parts that is
implementation planning and strategic planning. Implementation planning is a proper and
appropriate way in that the decision making process will be used for performing the
project . In strategic planning the entire project has been developed and all the planning
which is related to the project has been conduct. In context of Park Plaza Hotel the planning
phase engage the ways in that the Technologies and the implementation of Technologies can
be applied to make the final goods according to the requirement of the project.

Execution phase in this phase the functions, operations and decision which are made during
the time of planning and initiation phase are required to implement effectively and in very
appropriate manner. In this the project or the task manager are required to assist the project
and secure it from any risk factor that can occur during the implementation of the planning
in the project (Bradley, and Rustin, 2018). The project of Robotics Butler by park Plaza
Hotel, they are required to concentrate on adopting effective and amended quality of the
goods and the technology that can make the project more effective and fulfill the needs of
the services which the hotel wants to provide to their customers. For providing and
generating effective quality goods, they can start training sessions for the employees so that
they can generate effective and amended goods and provide effective services to their
customers.
Control Phase: In this phase the manager of the company will identify and control the
procedure of the project in order to avoid the problems and any issues. This will prevent the
project from any risk factor. This will also enhance the chances of success of the project.
Project closure: Once all the things are completed in the project it enters to the phase of
closure. This phase described about the final resources which will be required for

order to complete the project effectively.

feedbacks at their satisfaction level. Moreover, the entire success of the project is assessed by

managers which are connected to the performance by assessing skills. This approach will help
the managers in assessing performance with proper goals and objectives.
Reflection and evaluation of experiences and learning by using applied theories
It is evaluated that proper setting objectives in initial level which is connected to the project is
very helpful in evaluating the goals which are accomplished in particular time period. There is
assistance and support of managers during a project. During the time period of eight months I am
going to focus on a completing the project in a very appropriate manner and in a particular given
time period. There are several kinds of technique which going to help me in developing
strategies of functions or activity is going to perform in different aspect which is connected to the

project. The different kinds of with going to you consider in this project is SWOT analysis,
porter's five forces model, pestle analysis these all techniques will going to assist me in finding
and evaluating the external environment which create impact on the project and which is
connected to the aims and goals of the object.

SWOT analysis helps the company and the managers of the company to analyze about
the internal factors and to achieve the objectives in a efficient way.
Strength: The key target of the manager of Park Plaza hotel is to effective services and
facilities to the user by using the technology of robotics (Feng, Zhuang and Ryder, 2017).
Concentrating on adopting robotics techniques in order to create huge customer base and to
attract large number of consumers. New technologies help the company to increase the
revenue and get opportunities so that the hotel Park Plaza become successful.
Weakness: The problems and obstacles which is related to any kind of data and information
which is connected to the targeting consumer segment. This is generated problems in
segmentation of target market. There are several kinds of problems and issues which are
connected to the competitors that cater similar kind of services to their consumer. Due to
high competition in the market it’s become difficult for the company to retain their staff
because in the market place the other companies are trying to attract the employees by
providing amended facilities and training.
Opportunities: As the organization adopt several type of techniques and some innovative
techniques. So it creates great opportunities for the company to attract more consumers
towards their organization. Due to new technologies and amended services help the
company get more opportunities and increase their profit and efficiency in order to become
successful.
Threat: Raising the competition level in the market create negative impact on the company
during completing the project.

Political factors: Due to Brexit, it is create the risk factors that imposed and direct create impact
on the several industries in different way during the particular time period. There is a risk factor
which creates impact on the company.
Economic factors: The rate of inflation in the UK is increasing day by day because the current
situation of GDP. The rate of inflation creates direct impact on the sales and profit margin of the
company. Due to raising the unemployment rate in the country it will create impact on the
company in context of minimization of profit margin (Gidaris and Komodakis, 2018). The
management team of the chosen organization concentrating on catering services by using
Technologies which help them to create large customer base and attract them towards the
organization.
Social factors: The chosen organization concentrating on catering goods and services by using
Robotics technique which help them to create security among the society(Yang, Wang and Ma,
2016). The current pandemic of covid-19 creates several impacts on the society towards their
protection and safety so this will help the company to make their users feel secure and safe by
providing advance services and technologies.
Technological factors: The organization uses innovative Technologies like robotics in order to
get us it once and secure technology to their consumer’s. The main objective of the company is

to use amended Technology so that they can attract large number of consumers towards their
company.
Legal factors: There are several principles and regulation that must be followed by the company
in order to run their business in different countries. Company follows the equality law in order to
get equal rights and opportunity to their workers which are operating in the company.
Environmental factor: The chosen company concentrating on applying sustainable approach in
their current Technology because it will help them to build and generate environmental friendly
goods to their customer and to satisfy them.
Therefore, it is analyzed that the tool which is adopted by the company is very effective in order
to know about the external factors which create impacts on the company.
Porter's five forces
Porter's five forces model is used by the organization in order to gain competitive
advantages and to analyze different forces and problems which are faced by the company in
regards of their competition (Sadler, Foulk and Friedrichsen, 2017). There are five forces of
porter's which are mentioned below:
Threats of new entrants: any new entrance in the market creates impacts on the
company. In respect of chosen company they are focusing on create unique products and caters
unique services to their consumers in order to minimize the threat of new entrants like sensor and
Wi-Fi connectivity active and unique way of check in and checkout and many more.
Competitive rivalry: this model shows that the number of the competitors in the market.
This will help the company to know about how many competitors they have in the market and
what are the quality of their products and services.
Supplier power: This model described that how it simple for the suppliers to raise their
prices in the market. This will help the company to know about how potential suppliers they
have.
Buyers power: This will describe the capability of the consumers to put the organization
under pressure. this create impact on the consumer sensitivity to the price changes. The chosen
company takes several measures in order to reduce the Buyers power such as implementing and
loyalty programs and many more.
Threat of substitute: this will describe about how a company use different technology in order
to satisfy the consumers and economic needs (Bannan, Cook and Pachler, 2016). The chosen
company is providing many different and unique services to their consumers in order to satisfy
them.

Therefore, It is identified and analyzed that these components are included together for
the chosen company which assist or support the organization in accomplishing competitive edge
in the market.

provide strategy to learn and adopt the things from various experience which are based on real
life. This strategy helps them to analyze and utilized their skills and knowledge at the workplace

that help the company to identify the competitive advantages and external and internal impacts
