carry out there job skillfully and efficiently. Hospitality industry is one of the fastest growing
industries in the world which requires talented and skilled people. This report is based on Hilton
worldwide Hotel which is successful in the hospitality industry. In this part of the report, a work
based project is plant and undertaken, monitoring and evaluation of the progress of the
mentioned project along with its benefit stages have been included. Finally a conclusion
including reflection and on evaluation of the experience has been included.

LO 4 Plan and design a project
Every organization undertakes number of projects for achieving the targets and strategic
goals of the business. It is important to plan a project according to the current need of the entity.
Similarly, huge and successful Hotel like Hilton worldwide undertakes many projects in order to
complete them for attaining the desired results. As a front office manager, there is a requirement
of training for the employees especially in the front office, for working according the changes
occurred in hospitality industry due to covid-19. This pandemic has changed the way a d hotels
used to operate. There are different types of guidelines formulated by the government of every
country to be followed by every person and specially the tourism and hospitality industry.
The project in the report revolves around event management in Hilton worldwide which
is operated in UK, it is organisation an event in the upcoming months, this report cover different
steps and measures which are needed in order to implement strategic planning, steps and
procedures to conduct the business function effectively. Hilton worldwide in UK plans an
cultural events in the hotel. In order to achieve success in events management, events manager
are deploys with specific targets and standards who monitors the functioning of the event. The
events manger also evaluates the cost incurred in the events to determine the profit of the
organisation. It involves different policies and strategies in order to determine the functioning of
the events. Events manager assigns different roles and duties to the employees in the
organisation in order to achieve success of the event.

Targets- this is an absolutely new virus to all the people irrespective of where they are living
currently. In the situation of pandemic, the training project comprises of the following targets:

there was a delay because of some considerable reasons but I made sure to meet the deadline
within the specified one month.
Benefits- this project has given numerous benefits as employees have become aware about
