INTRODUCTION Work-based learning is determined as an educational technique that provides scholars along with real life experiences that help in improving employability to offer opportunity to expand their learning in classroom in context of real world. WBL provide support to scholars in improving learning that is related to real world. For completing written assignment, Marriott hotel is taken as an organisation running in hospitality industry in UK. This hotel was founded in 1927 and they focus on managing wider portfolio of hotel and connected to lodging services. This report provides information regarding plan as well as initiated project, setting target and its objective. Moreover, they also provide explanation regarding project life cycle and completion of project in timely manner. Apart from this, the assignment provides description regarding assessment of experience in workplace by determining theories(Baldwin and Rosier, 2017). ASSESSMENT 2 Planned as well as initiated project In reference of Marriott hotel, the manager of organisation focuses on initiating project by determining robotic system for increasing improvement within organisation. And, it is helpful in increasing success, customer base as well as profit margin in future period of time. The chosen organisation focuses on using robotics as an innovation that helps in increase improvement in its facilities. By using robotics, they provide appropriate facility to its user according to their need during particular phase of time period. In present Covid-19, the individual person focuses on adopting social distancing in order to free from disease so it is important for organisation to provide superior quality facility to its user during particular phase of time period. It aids assistance to organisation in achieving competitive advantage over rivalries in the market. Set targetthe target in respect of adopting robotics in Marriott hotel is to provide appropriate services or facility to its customer in order to fulfil their needs and provide valuable experience during particular phase of time period. Therefore, the main focus is to set target to increase growth of organisation and provide support in achieving competitive advantage over rivalries in the market. Aims and objectivethe primary purpose of using Robotics is to increase improvement in sales, customer base of organisation during particular phase of time period. 3
The primary objective is to attract user by providing appropriate services to use of robotics that help in meeting need of user. In addition to this, the aim of project is to offer services as per need and wants that help in increasing sales & profit margin of company in future period of time. The administration team of Marriott hotel focuses on using project life cycle. PLC is determined as a series of significant action that help in achieving objectives related to project. It is considered as a structure that determine phase that helps in converting ideas in reality. There are different dimension of project which is mentioned in framework of project life cycle. The process related to project life cycle is to categorise in different parts such as initial step, learning step, execution as well as monitoring controlling and its closing or finishing stage(Barak and Assal, 2018). Project initiationthis is determined as a primary step of project when company focuses on proving project must have value and also feasible. This level determined generating a case of organisation and explains need and want of project and also the focus is on feasibility study that determines performance of business organisation must be increased within time and in cost. For instance, in context of Marriott International, they focus on adopting robotics in their facility to increase improvement in organisation and attract large number of user during particular phase of time period. Their main purpose is to provide services through robotics to its customers and provide them services according to their need. In addition to this, in present time due to increase in covid-19, the individual person emphasize on taking facility by using robotics in comparison to its human interactions that is beneficial for company in increasing its sales in future period of time(Hakim, Ritonga and Susanti, 2020). Project planningis determined as a second step that occurs after project is completed. This is determined as a deliverable phase in planning project that provides guidance for execution. The plan of project must determine component connected to implementation of project that determined cost, resources, risk and many more. In present time, the project administration team of Marriott hotel can focus on planning regarding cost, time, resources that is confronted by company during particular phase of time period. For instance, they focus is on requirement of finance by adopting services provided through robotics and there is a time needed around 6 months for executing robotics services in its facilities. In this process, there are different kind of technique that is adopted to assess customer feedback and its satisfaction level. In addition to this, rate of success of new technology named as robotics is to assess after finishing period of 8 months that must be setup in basic level. The increase in market share and its level of satisfaction is determined as a major source that offer idea related to success rate of technology used within hospitality sector. The whole success is assessed by adopting 360 degree feedback. There are different kinds of feedback or reviews collect from superiors, peers that are connected to performance by assessing skill. This approach can assists in assessing performance along with appropriate objective(Kallick and Zmuda, 2017). Reflection & evaluation of experiences It is assess that appropriate setting goal in initial level related to project is useful in assessing objective that must be achieved in time manner. There is a support of employer during a small project, the whole duration of time was 8 month and I am focusing on achieving it in timely manner. In addition to this, there are different kinds of techniques that help in appropriately planning of activity that must be performed in various aspects related to project. The different types of techniques such a SWOT analysis, Porter five Force model, PESTEL analysis that assist me in assessing external environment that is related to project aims and its objective. The appropriate research skill & team administration skills that aids assistance in handling team member in this project. SWOT analysisis determined as a technique which is adopted for aim of assessing whole objective that must be achieved in timely manner. Strength:the primal objective of manager of Marriott International is to emphasis on providing superior experience to its user by using robotics. They focus is on adopting Robotics in order to attract large number of customers during particular phase of time period. Weakness:the issue is connected t any kind of information related to targeting customer segment. It is generated difficulty in segmentation of target market. 6

Therefore, as per financial analyst, the rate of inflation is increase in future period of time that enforces direct effect on sales and profit margin of company during the period of time. Due to increase in unemployment rate, it decreases profit margin of company within hospitality sector during particular phase of time period. Threat of substitutethere are different kind of competitor firm of Marriott International that also provide similar kind of services to its customers so that it is necessary to provide services according to need and want of customer that help in retaining them for a longer period of time.
