INTRODUCTION
Project management refers to the processor in which an individual leader team to achieve goals
and objectives of a project in a particular time (Broek and Buiskool, 2020). Project management
is very essential in construction field. This report contains a case study of Fortis properties which
is an organization of Housing Development and contains a weekly diary of main contractor
which shows the process of project management.
MAIN BODY
Case Study
40sh properties is a Housing Development organization which is famous for designing
and building of houses. The company involved in various contracts to redesign or design and
build dream house for their clients and have an objective to provide best living experience to
them. An old building which was built in approximately between 1802 and 1810 is in a
conservation area and at a risk of falling into this repair. Further, client has approached the main
conservation area is properties to demolish the entire building and redesign and rebuild it as a
residential state. The contractor has taken this Housing Development project in which client has
given the proposal of housing estate. Now as a main contractor needs to to plan their weekly
work in order to achieve the objectives of the project in effective manner. Every week will be
assigned a work for which a diary should be prepared by the main contractor to have a proof of
their weekly work and have a proper management on the construction project in order to provide
full satisfaction to the client it is essential to provide the project in timely manner with full
effectiveness and efficiency. The week 1 will include the meeting with the client in which the
client will provide all the brief regarding the project in weak to the main contractor will prepare
the smart action plan for them to complete the project in timely manner. In week 3 the main
contractor will plan about the demolition process which will be used in the project. In week 4 the
main contractor will research in various property types, floor plans and elevation consideration
(Buligina and Sloka, 2020). Finally after all this research the main contractor will able to design
for the project in week 6 and well outline planning permission in week 7. Week 8 will provide
the main contractor about the full planning permission process of preparation so that it can be
submitted to the client for their approval. This is the case study for per real life project of a
building to demolish and rebuild it. In accordance with the case study it is required to prepare a
