INTRODUCTION
Work based learning is the type of learning which takes place in real life environment. It
help an individual to analyse their skills which help them to start their professional career. Every
company aims to introduce a new project for the benefit of their organisation to earn more profit.
The main aim of every project within a company is to maximize their profit earnings by
attracting customers (Bedi and Toshniwal., 2019). Britannia hotel is founded by Alex Langsam
in the year 1976. It is headquartered in Hale, UK. Britannia hotel is introducing a new project of
opening a health and fitness club within their hotels which help their customers to maintain their
healths by increasing their knowledge about the ways which help them to maintain their fitness.
This report covers description of new project and their aims and objectives, the ways by which
the project if managed, monitored and evaluated the progress of the project. Beside this, it also
covers the ways of completing project before deadline. In the end it covers the reflection of
SWOT analysis and Porter five forces of the specific project.
MAIN BODY
Setting targets, aims and objectives of the project
Britannia Hotel is planning to make a Health and Fitness Centre in their hotel which is on the
basis of increasing demand and preferences of consumers that they want to have the facility of
Health and Fitness Centre in a hotel(Sung and Hwang, 2018). For this, the floor manager of a
hotel have been given the responsibility of managing the things which is required in making a
Health and Fitness Centre. The targets, aims and objectives of a project have been set which are
discussed below-
Project targets- The target which has been set for making a Health and Fitness Centre is around
2 months by which it it will be made. By conducting a research and asking feedbacks from the
consumers it has been analysed that the people who come for a stay wants that Britannia Hotel is
having a Health and Fitness Centre. In the present time as people are getting aware with the
health and for this they have joined the health and fitness centre. So in this case, they do not want
to leave any of their day even if they are staying in a hotel. The target for Britannia hotel is the
people who from the age group of 18 to 40.
