INTRODUCTIONWork based learning is a process of educating the employees on the basis of real lifework experience where they can apply their skills and knowledge for personal and professionaldevelopment. Work based learning is more effective than the theoretical learning (Crane andMatten, 2016). This report is explaining how the work practical learning can improve theperformance of employees who are working in DO & CO organization. Do & Co is an Austriancatering organization and its headquarter in Vienna. The company is offering the cateringservices in trains, airlines and huge international events and gathering. The study is explainingimpact of external factor on the performance of organization and their employees. The influenceof internal factors on employee and organizational performance is explained in report. Thesystems and management practices that can improve the performance of employee are explainedin report. To evaluate the personal and professional development an audit is performed.TASK 1Analysis of External Factors on Employee PerformanceThe influence of external factors on the employee and company performance is evaluatedthrough the report.Political FactorsGovernment decides the rules and laws for different organizations. This law guide andforce the organization to implement variety of changes in the organization. These laws and rulesare to maintain the governmental, political and economic stability in country. Various decisionsof government can prevent and protect the rights of employees in the organization, this can leadto improved performance of employees and the overall performance of DO & CO company.Economic FactorsThe economical condition of country can influence performance of employees. Changesin economic policies, tax policy and exchange rates are directly related to survival of employeesin country (Meyer, 2017). This can affect both organization and employees. Factors like inflationand economic crisis kind of situation is directly related to employee motivation. If the morals andmotivation of employees are not up to the mark this reduces quality of their skills which isproportional to their performance.Social Factors1
This factors are also known as socio cultural factors. This is related to employee'spersonal and cultural values. The other factors like population growth and other social andcultural changes outside the organization can reduce the performance of employee in the DO &CO company. The skills and quality of employee is based on their concentration level, if they arenot working efficiently this can affect their professional performance in organization.Technological FactorsTechnological trends which are new to the market and company is using them to improvethe performance, this can help employees to learn new thing. In the organization innovative intechnology can improve the overall working of company. This positive change in theorganization can motivate employees to perform batter. Implementing new technology can alsodemotivate the employees (Dabija, Pop and Postelnicu, 2016). Technology generates insecurityin the mind of employees because it can reduce work load on the company and that allows theorganization to reduce work force. This can cause the danger of unemployment of employees.Environmental FactorsThe environmental condition of the local area can have huge impact on the mind set ofemployees. The performance of employee depends on external environment. This can havepositive of negative impact on the DO &CO company. Positive environment can motivate andpromote the employees to perform and learn better. Negative external environment can generatethe situation of conflict between the employees. This can reduce their efficiency.Legal FactorsLegal bodies make the law to protect the rights of employee's in the organization. Theselaws ensure the safety and security of work place to provide safe environment at organisation.These laws protect employees right that gives them satisfaction related to the job. This canpositively influence the behaviour and performance of employees (Nurmi, and Niemelä, 2018).The laws also fix the limitation of company and employees and they can lead to conflict betweenthe management and workforce. The company is working in food industry and laws related to thefood safety and security can put impact on the company performance.This how the external factors which are not in control of company can affect theperformance of employees and DO & CO company. The work based learning can minimise theinfluence of these factors.2
