INTRODUCTION
Work based learning is an important approach which is beneficial for an individual in
order to develop effective learning in professional life (Bai, 2020). The development of work-
based learning is an important source of knowledge which should be practised in a crucial
manner. All the work based learning experience should be used by a person in order to gain
effective success. In this project example of Al Pacino Italy is taken into consideration, which is
a Cafe situated in heart of Italy. The restaurant is a good place for all kinds of people and serves
best multi-cuisine dishes. This report covers planning and initiation of a project which enables
the user to set aims and objectives for the project. The project also covers monitoring and its
aspects related to developing supervision and control for a project. The report also covers
different analysis like PEST, SWOT in order to develop a project related objectives.

Planned and initiated the project. Setting targets, aims and objectives for project
Planning is an essential process which enables a user to develop effective framework and
approach for developing. Setting major targets and objectives for the project, is an important
function of an individual. When I was working in the restaurant my project was to serve front
office with management of different employees. I practised several things under my project
which were helpful in my development in the hospitality sector. In order to develop different
targets and goals it is essential for me to take help of precise and defined strategy. The planning
is a major aspect which should include strategic framework for self growth (Birch, Gibson and
McBride, 2020). Achievement of professional skills in the restaurant was my primary objectives.
Learning all aspects of professionalism is important for self growth in a specific time frame. All
major objectives of the restaurant were fulfilled by strategic management and top level
management in order to develop at the marketplace. Aims and objectives of myself were
achieved with the help of other staff members. The planning related to whole project is essential
to be framed in a short span of time in order to achieve marketing targets. Setting time also
include a period for long term growth of the company which led my restaurant to develop
effective edge at the marketplace.
Managed, monitored and evaluated the progress of the project throughout the project lifecycle
from initiation to completion
It was essential for me to follow project life cycle related stages for completion of whole
project in order to achieve set targets. All policies related to completing a project should be
monitored with application of information and technology. In the recent times, information and
technology is growing in a major sense. Management of a company is an important aspect in
project lifestyle. In my working experience, I was able to develop a policy which is effective in
increasing growth (Grant-Smith and McDonald 2018). All members of my team were following
project life cycle for systematically approaching various dimensions of self growth. Al Pacino
restaurant was dedicated to provide effective working conditions to all employees for self
development. The progress of self was essential to be described in context of project progress. I
used various mathematical approaches for completing my project in a set period of time. The
monitoring of various set goals with digital technology tools was essential for me in the whole

project. In order to manage whole project in a well defined manner, I took the support of
manager of the restaurant. I will also develop set of procedures in my upcoming life, which are
beneficial for development. The companies in hospitality sector prefer modern tools related to
information and technology for developing a precise project life cycle. In the major areas of
project development and completion , there is a crucial role played by information and
technology. The companies in marketplace focus on developing a precise approach which in
terms of project development play a crucial role.
How at project completion you met the deadlines and achieved the benefits of each stage of aims
and objectives for your project
The deadlines are provided in a project as a timeline which includes whole time period during
which project is to be completed. The benefits of each stage of achievement of aims and
objectives also helps a person to overcome several different approaches. Project completion on
time, is also one of the key objectives of an organisation or an individual. The benefits of each
stage in career related life helps in developing set targets and goals for individual development.
The deadline which was assigned to us in the project was having a grace period of 7 days. I am
very happy that I achieved all tasks and functions on time, for long and sustainable growth. In
my opinion, we should follow all the instructions given by our supervisor and manager.
Discipline is also a major component which enables a person to be calm throughout the project
and perform all duties in a precise manner. The project completion should be followed by stage
in order to achieve set targets and objectives in a well defined manner. The various stages related
to project completion are mentioned below:
Initiation or primary stage- The primary stage is considered as very first stage which
enables an individual to set objectives and goals related to a project. In order to deliver
best business practices at restaurant, there is a major role played by strategies. The focus
of an individual should be on developing the primary stage with support of top level
management to develop to do list (Haghani and Ghodousi, 2019). Main management of
restaurant was helpful for me, in supporting me for different perspectives and
development approaches. I will also include main focus on primary stage which will
include initiation of primary cause behind the efforts. Initiation stage includes risk, so it is
compulsory for a person to develop risk free strategy.

Implementation or secondary stage- In this stage implementation of a brief idea relate
to whole project is done. Company majorly identifies goals and objectives which are
helpful in implementation of preferred plan in a major sense. The implementation stage
should be developed with the help of proper supervision and control for business
development. Major benefit of this approach is, it helps in overcoming various issues and
challenges in self defined life. Various approaches in academic life are related to long
term growth and sustainable development of a person. In the corporate world
implementation is considered as major stage which is important in developing focus on
long and systematic growth of a person. Implementation also includes key focus of a
person which is fruitful for long term and sustainable development approach. All major
business entities in the marketplace, majorly develop an effective approach which is
fruitful in implementation of right project carrying out technique. Focused approach,
which is helpful in implementation of a project plan which is risk free in nature.
Actions- In the stage of project development or completion, it is essential for an
individual to focus on major actions. The actions are derived by major aspects of
developing psychological perspectives. Companies in the international and national
marketplace focus on actions and activities in order to develop a good value. Value
development in the actions is essential for developing ethical values in a project. These
values helps in completion of a project on time. The time management along with actions
are two major dimensions which are need to covered by an individual in hospitality
sector. Long term growth and success of a project depends upon various actions that are
taken by an individual to achieve desired objectives and goals in short span of time.
Review- It is also necessary in project development to review all the things which are
essential for long term growth. The review and its power is essential for a project
inspection in order to achieve desired goals and objectives. All review related techniques
are used by management of a company to focus on company growth. The review of
various things and aspects of project development is important for sustainable growth of
management. Review of a business plan related to project development is essential for a
business growth. The review techniques are used by me, during my work at the
restaurant. In my 90 days experience, I formulated effective review techniques for long
term and sustainable growth. The desired objectives of a company are based on a mixed

review approach for benefit of all projects. The review is also majorly important for a
company in order to lead at the marketplace (Huh, Lee, and Lee, 2018). All major
companies in business marketplace focus on company development in a fixed tenure. The
business organisation has major responsibility to effectively facilitate marketing
operations. There are various roles and duties of management which can also cause
severe impact on individual life.

Porter's five forces model-
The Porter's five forces model is an important approach which is helpful for a candidate to
determine effective business strategy. Porter's five forces model and its application for Al Pacino
is mentioned below:
Bargaining power of buyers- The bargaining power of buyers in case of Al Pacino is
very high as there are various restaurants present in country. Also it is now essential for
the restaurant to develop global standards of business in order to minimise bargaining
power of buyers. Bargaining power is also considered as a major force which also
decides various functions and tasks of the company.
Bargaining power of suppliers- The suppliers are mainly considered as major raw
material suppliers who are eligible for providing raw materials to business. In the
corporate world of UK, after BREXIT major foreign suppliers also decline which is a
major red signal for the company.
Threat from substitutes- Substitutes are major products of a company which are
common in marketplace (Li, Chi, and Shen 2020). The company should develop threat
from substitutes in order to effectively carry major advantage from other people.
Employees who are common to the company can develop effective strategy for self
growth and development.

comparison with competitive rivalry (Pappalardo and La Rosa, 2020). My SWOT analysis
related to work experience Al Pacino restaurant is mentioned below:
Strength- Strength is the quality that makes a person different from competition and
make a person unique from other. I'm a active listener as this strength helped me working
in restaurant for managing the customers requirement quickly in order to make any safety
changes or any add ons on the dishes. And my another communication skills and soft
skills helped me everyday in restaurant because the way we communicate lies in heart
of both customers and co workers.
Weakness- Weakness is known as the condition of being weak which can be habitual and
can cause serious problems in self development. My weakness is being extremely
introvert by which I cannot interact with customers more openly. Another one is being
perfectionist, I want every thing to be perfectly done and with given time by which my
determination in work is always maintained.
Opportunities-Opportunities are the new chances which make it possible to do new
things and achieve life goals. I'm getting many opportunities to work in well known
restaurants as I learned various required skills by working in Al Pacino like having
patience, multi tasking, time management and better communication skills.

Threats- Threat is an intention to inflict injury and damage which can cause a huge
affect in career. There are some threats for working in a restaurant like lack of training
which can cause a organisational damage as well as personal damage. I also get lack of
professional skills which is a threat for me for switching in any career field.
PEST analysis in order to develop analysis of external and macro environment
Political-Political factors highly affects the environment of the organisation as it include
tax policy, fiscal policy and trade tariffs. UK has to left European which had made
difficulties and reduces the customer base if restaurants have to grow their company they
have to pay external taxes. Another factor is COVID-19 pandemic due to which Al
Pacino turn to shortage of products and also suffers the huge cost as company has to sick
pay to the workers.
Economic-Economic factors impacts directly to the company on long basis.It includes
inflation rates, interest rate, foreign exchange rates and economic growth patterns. Al
Pacino is affected due to economic factors in terms of rising fuel costs as it makes
expensive to deliver products around the country which affects the overall profitability.
Second concern is increased employee wage rate, employees are demanding high wages
for small purpose of work in restaurant.
Social-Social factors are related to social environment of the market which includes
determinants like traditional, cultural trends, demographics, population analytics etc. Al
Pacino has to improve the food menu from fast food to healthy food, organisation has to
enter healthier and organic products in its menu (Schopferer and Donkels, 2022). Al
Pacino has to include frozen foods for the countries which has lowest degree of
temperature.
Technological- Technological factors are the new innovative ideas that include
automation and technical awareness needed in the organisation for the growth in industry.
This company in recent times, also focus on developing a customer relationship
management software for maintaining better relationship with customers Al Pacino is
also growing online by making online delivery services due to which customer has not to

face any difficulty and can buy with comfort from home which not only increase the
profit but also extends the market.

From the above stated report it can be concluded that planning related to a project is a
major component of achieving success. The project concludes the importance of supervision and
