Introduction
In the current environment, learning’s new knowledge, skills, competencies is highly
important to grow in the career. The main aim of learning is to grow in the future career in
significant manner. Learning is a process of acquiring new knowledge, skills, attitude and
preferences. In other words, learning is a process that leads towards change that occurs as a result
of experience and increase the potential of an individual to perform assigned duties effectively
(Carson and et. al., 2021). In learning process, change can be happen at different levels such as
knowledge, behavior and attitude. In the current competitive scenario, it is highly important to
enhance knowledge, skills and develop suitable behavior so that one can easily distinguish self
from other. To get and sustain within a job, there is requirement to learn new skills and
competencies. The most important skills to make an enriching career are communication skills,
presentation skills, decisions-making, time management, team work and more (Bager-Charleson,
2020). In present situation, I have been joined classroom sessions so that I can acquire new
knowledge and qualities. These abilities will help me to grow at workplace. The present
assignment will cover skills and learnings, I have been gathered during the module. Further,
specific workplace skills have acquired during the course have also been covered in the present
report. Along with this, it will also include other skills which I am planning to develop to
perform my future job role in significant manner. At end, a screenshot of my Linkedin profile
will also attach in the report.
Main Body
Learning's during the module
I have learned ample of skills during the module that will help me to get success in future career.
During the module, I got the opportunity to interact with ample of people which enhanced my
interpersonal skills in significant manner. This skill is important to understand the needs and
requirements of other individuals and provide them products & services accordingly. In addition
to this, interpersonal skills also help me in interacting with strangers which allow me to conquer
over my fear of public speaking. Now, I can easily make interaction with numerous people that
will also help me in putting better impression on my colleagues and seniors at workplace. The

other skill which I got during the module is communication skill. Here, communication is highly
important to exchange necessary information with each-other. This skill is helpful in terms of
communicating with colleagues, managers and other stakeholders. Further, communication skill
is useful to maintain proper flow of information within the company so that appropriate decisions
can be taken (Porter, 2016). In my case, I got remarkable communication skills during the
module. By having such effective communication skills, I will be able to put better impression
on others. Apart from this, it will also help me to grow in future career so that I can attain pre-
defined career goals in an efficient manner. While studying in the module, my teamwork skills
also got improved as I got the opportunity to work within a team of different individuals. During
classroom sessions, I used to take part in group activities. Here, I used to work in a team for the
completion of group task successfully. The team comprises diversify individuals who belong
from different culture, region and more. While working with diversify team members, I develop
significant team work skills that will prove helpful in terms of working within a team in future
period of time. This skill will play a crucial role in enhancing my capabilities to work in a team
of different individuals in order to attain common goals significantly.
I learned that reflecting own skills and capabilities is also important to make necessary
improvements in the future period of time. While learning reflection, I came across with various
relevant models like Gibbs reflection model, Kolb model and more. These models include a step
by step approach to develop learning’s and experiences. Through the respective models, past
learning’s & experiences can be used for the future betterment. These learning’s will make the
individual enable to grow & succeed in future period of time in an efficient manner. Reflective
writing refers to the response to experiences, opinions, events or new information. This is the
way to explore learning’s in an efficient manner. Further, reflective writing is also useful in
terms of achieving clarity and better understanding of learnings (Sewry and Paphitis, 2018). The
knowledge of reflective writing enhanced my ability to write own self development, skills and
competencies so that I can easily grow in my career in the future period of time. Therefore, I
learned ample of skills and competencies during the module that will allow me to get success in
my future career in an efficient manner.

Specific workplace skills acquired during the module
Workplace skills allow an individual to perform daily tasks in an efficient manner. Here,
one can easily perform the assigned duties in the best possible way to ensure growth & success
in longer period of time. These skills are also known as employability skills as it is important to
work within an organization efficiently. Apart from this, these competencies are developed
through the training or job experience so that one can make a distinct presence at workplace.
Presently, there is extensive competition in job market hence, it is quite difficult for an individual
to get as well as sustain in a job (Gorman and Pauleen, 2016). In present situation, I have been
developed communication skill that is important to exchange the necessary information to
stakeholders. This skill is highly important to maintain proper communication with various
internal as well as external stakeholders. Apart from this, I will be able to communicate with my
senior and colleagues in an impressive way by having good communication skill . Further it will
also allow me to deal with my fear of public speaking. Now, I can easily communicate with
others without any hesitation. Further, communication skill is useful to maintain proper flow of
information within the company so that appropriate decisions can be taken. I also acquired
decision-making skills during the module. While working in an organization, one needs to take
decisions on regular basis. Here, decision-making skills will allow me to take insightful
decisions so that I can get better outcomes in the future period of time. By having remarkable
decision-making skills, it will be possible for me to take meaningful decisions so that the
business organization can grow in the future period of time. This skill will help me to grow in
career in future.
Leadership is also an important workplace skill which I developed during the module.
This skill is important in order to lead, guide and motivate the individuals profoundly.
Leadership refers to the ability of a person to guide, lean & encourage the team members to
attain the common goals significantly. Here, the respective activity is performed by the leaders
(Allen and et. al., 2020). During the module, I took part in several classroom activities where
ample of other individuals also used to work with me. Sometimes, I voluntarily performed the
role of leaders. During the activities, I used to perform the role of leader where I used to provide
direction to the team members so that they can work towards attainment of common goals. This
skill is highly important in terms of improving my leadership abilities so that I can easily
perform the task at workplace. Therefore, I learned numerous skills throughout the module. In

this regard, the major skills are leadership, communication, decision-making and more. These all
skills are really important to perform various role & responsibilities at workplace. By having
such effective skills, I will be able to sustain in job for longer duration. In addition, these
learning will also help me in order to perform my duties efficiently at workplace. Apart from
this, it will also help me to grow in future career so that I can attain pre-defined career goals in
an efficient manner.
Other skills to develop after the module against future job role (1900)
In the current competitive world, continuous learning is really important to get a good job
in future. Learning is important to update the knowledge and skills of person so that duties can
be performed in the best possible manner. Here, it is imperative to update the knowledge in
timely manner to sustain in the competitive environment (García-Rico and et. al., 2021). In this
regard, skills are the competencies which make a person enable to put better impression on
manager and colleagues. Additionally, learning is a process that leads towards change that occurs
as a result of experience and increase the potential of an individual to perform assigned duties
effectively. To get and sustain within a job, there is requirement to learn new skills and
competencies. In present situation, I need to enhance my skills and capabilities to work at a
remarkable position in the future period of time. In future, I wish to get promoted at a higher
position in one of the prestigious companies. However, I need to improve my potential to work at
a better position in future. By looking at the enhancing technological advancements, I am also
looking forward to develop IT expertise so that I can easily perform my duties using recent &
updated techniques. In addition to this, I will get knowledge of different IT softwares and tools
through online sessions , articles and more. Here, knowledge of updated IT tools and techniques
will allow me to perform my job roles in better manner. In the current digital world, this is the
most important skills which make me enable to grow and succeed in future career in significant
manner.
While working in a business organization, one has to face ample of issues on regular
basis. To deal with such issues, it is important to have necessary problem solving abilities. I am
also looking forward to develop necessary problem solving abilities so that I can easily resolve
the issues that are being faced by the companies. Here, problem-solving skills will help me in
terms of contributing in resolution of different issues in significant manner. This will also

improve my impression at the workplace so that I can easily get promotion at the higher position
in longer period of time. In the present uncertain environment, it is important to have planning
skills. In this regard, I am looking forward to develop forward planning and strategic thinking
abilities so that I can easily make effective plans for future betterment. These plans will help me
in minimizing the future uncertainties in an efficient manner. Here, I will not only focus my
current roles & responsibilities but will also make suitable plans to perform my future roles in a
systematic way. In present time, planning is useful to deal with different issues that might occur
in the future period of time. Here, planning plays an important role in addressing the future
uncertainties in an efficient manner. By structuring suitable plans, I will be able to contribute
towards the success of the entity profoundly. In addition to this, planning skills and strategic
thinking will allow me to think forward with an aim to deal with future problem in profound
manner. Therefore skills such as planning, IT skills, problem solving and more are certain
additional skills which I wish to develop in future. These skills will allow me to acquire a good
position within one of the prestigious companies. In addition to this, these skills and capabilities
will also ensure my growth in the future job role. However, I have been learned several skills
through the learning module. But, I am still looking forward to develop more significant,
advance and updated skills so that I can perform my future job role in an efficient manner.
