It is very essential to maintain proper work life balance, so that the work can be conducted in an
effective manner. The work life balance can be managed in following ways:
To create proper schedule: To maintain proper work life balance it is important to create proper
schedule so that the activities can be managed effectively. Proper chart should be made in which
the timings should be written to conduct the activities, so that everything can be managed
effectively and with proper management.
Give priority to the time: The task or the activities should be divided into four categories like
urgent and important, important but not urgent, urgent but not important and also not important.
It will help to analyze conduct the activities in an effective manner and no activity will be missed
(Jones, Burke & Westman, 2013).
Be realistic: it is an important factor that should be considered to manage the work life balance.
At the end of the day self-analysis should be done. Questions should be asked to yourself about
the activities that are conducted and also what went wrong and how the issues can be resolved.
Be positive, the behavior should be positive so that the activities can be managed effectively.
The individual should be positive so that the activities can be enhanced in proper manner. If
negativity is possessed by the individual then it can give direct impact on the lifestyle of the
person (Isaacs, 2016).
Take a break: it is important to take proper time out of the busy schedule for yourself. There are
many tasks that are easier than others, so complete the task on time by taking proper time. If
break is not taken from the busy schedule then it can give negative impact on the activities that
are conducted. So proper management should be there of the activities, so that work life balance
can be maintained. Also make a point to get up and stretch in every 15 minutes. It will help to
become more focused and more productive (Perrons, 2017).
Meditation: Proper meditation should be done on daily basis. It helps to gain positive energy and
also motivates to conduct the activities in a proper manner. It is one of the best methods that
help to keep proper work life balance. It also makes the person positive towards the work. It also
helps to reduce the negativity from the individual; it only enhances the positivity in an

individual. It helps to enhance the capability of the individual to conduct the activities. If the
individual regularly do meditation then productivity and working speed can be increased. It
makes the individual fresh and smart.
Focus on the strength: The focus should be given on the strengths, so that the activities can be
conducted with confidence and also it makes the work more productive. If the individual possess
strength then it should be shown and utilized in every phase of the life, so that the success can be
attained in an effective manner (Wiese, 2015).
