The aim of this report is to discuss the person to a commodity in a market full of
competition. In this regard, the person will be compared to a community or product which is
being introduced in the market. Despite the fact that the human skills have nothing similar to
those of the products, but thinking oneself to be the product in the competitive market make
the persons enable to keep themselves upgraded with the changing situation and time. This
report will be discussing the features of the human product with all the features as well as
specifications in the market perfectly matching the demand of the market. In addition to this,
the product will be shown with the glimpse of future availability so that changes can be
brought more easily. In spite of having various viabilities, the acceptance of this human
product will not get reduced.
Thinking oneself as product has several positive outcomes which include proper
understanding of proper competitive features, assets , benefits and liabilities that can be
improved upon each and every year that help in differentiating oneself from the others and
creating oneself as the personal brand. Making the personality as the backbone of the creating
personal branding system can help the product to be introduced successfully in the market. In
this regard, the skills and capabilities need to be showcased properly so that the companies
which are expecting a human force to be effective in their operations can understand the
abilities and hire me in their organostions as an asset.
I, before introducing myself as the product in the job market has understood the
personal SWOT properly so that the capabilities and scopes are clearly visible in the process
in one hand and I can understand the level of competition properly. In order to trade with
confidence and security I can sell myself as a product in the job market. I am a professional
accountant therefore I know the financial issues related to the business in depth which is an
essential criteria for the employees in this competitive world of business. First of all it is
mandatory to state that I have one short goal and a long goal to achieve in which to get hired

by a reputed company as a senior accountant is the short goal. This due to because, I have the
long goal of setting my own start up within 15 years where I will be applying my professional
knowledge properly. In this regard, I have developed certain strengths which include my
managerial skills, communication skills, creativity skills, planning skills, budgeting skills and
relationship building skills. My personal strengths involves the abilities to be creative and
innovating in the finding of solution of the problems and decision making. In addition to this,
the strengths in me are promoted as I am an open minded person which creates scope for
getting an extra leverage in comparison to other competitors. Being open to the new and
innovative ideas paves the path for becoming adaptive to the new situations that gives the
products competitive advantage to be upgraded all the time. Creativity and in ovation are the
tools which help me to advance my career. And allow me stand out in the environment as this
is knowledge intensive quality exemplifying my education as well as other capabilities. There
is a less scope for an accountant to apply creativity but I keep myself updated with the
introduction of newer tools and techniques of financial works of the business and their utility
in the business of all over the world. These tools that I try to use are mainly supported with
the technological advancement of the world and has helped me to embrace the new
innovative measure of accounting. Therefore, if I get hired in the company I will be using
those tools that can reduce time and resource use in the production or operation of the firm.
As mentioned before I have quite in depth understanding of the subject hence have
access to the resources needed for the successful operation of the company. In the
competitive world of business resources are the capital as the better resources I have the
better chances I will get the upper hand on the competitors. Despite the fact that resources are
essential for the growth of any persons as well as for the companies, I can contribute my
company with any type of support that I have developed through the educational knowledge.
It is one of the most important factor that the companies need these knowledge so that the

operations can be done in more proper way as well as ethical manner. Hence education is the
source of success through adaptability. Even if the situation of the company changes, I can
support the company with the needed resources so that it can survive the challenges with
changing situation.
In addition to this, I can be a good product in the competitive world of business
because I can be socially acceptable more than my competitors. This is due to the fact that I
tend to understand the persons approaching me and communicating with me on any topic.
This tendency of communicating has made me one of the most popular communicator in
college as well as university. I can mix with people in any way and create a positive impact
on them so that I understand the different points of view and adapt me with that situation or
condition. From the point of view of a product, I can say I am very acceptable because like
any type of popular products I am user friendly. I create an impact on the others that move
them and identify me as an honest spoken and understanding person who can carry on
responsibility. Therefore, I never face any type of conflict with my mates on the basis of
different style of thinking and decision making. This quality has made me to be different and
capable communicator who can solve any type of problem just through discussion and
negotiation.
Any type of product has some weaknesses that make them viable in the competitive
market. It is drawbacks of the product that hinder it from executing what it is meant for. In
my case, I also have some drawbacks that hinder me from executing the strategies to pursue a
particular mission. However, the viability in the market enhances when I cannot perform one
particular tasks due to my inability but the competitors around me are able to do so. Thus
these competitors get leverage than me and win over me. Thus harms me and curtail my
growth in the competitive world of business. I have two most important weaknesses as a
product in this situation one is related with the over commitment and self-motivation as

mentioned before, I am an open minded person who is proficient in the understanding of the
tasks and doing those within deadline but I am an over committed person and honestly try to
do what I have committed irrespective of my sufferings. This often creates hindrance in my
path because instead of being able to stop myself while going towards the wrong way and I
walk in that path until I end up in a dead end. This tendency of maintaining commitment and
doing what exactly has been said is originated from the idea of pursuing perfection in any
types of tasks. This escalation of the commitment bias leads me to fail in attaining the goals.
This continues to gain momentum as well as strength of the tasks at my hand and desire I
know the negative aspects and consequences of the tasks I cannot stop myself and I have
taken the responsibility by myself. It is essential to understand that the commitment with the
work is necessary for excel in career but too much commitment can hamper the growth.
However, I believe that I can overcome this type of weaknesses with full support of my well-
wishers.
Another weaknesses is my inability to have a self-motivation while I face an intense
problems. As mentioned before, I have the capability to understand the psychology of the
other based on which I communicate with them and thus negotiate so that no side can face
any type of problem. However, in my case, I cannot motivate myself to cope up with any
problem that need full psychological strength (Margareta 2019). Despite the fact that I can
adapt with any situation but this inability of self-motivation, curbs me in anyway. However,
the improvement is an essential factor that can effectively help me to deal with my
weaknesses. It has been clear that the problems can affect the complete growth of my skills
and acceptability by creating negative aspects in my impression and abilities. In such cases I
need to learn how these avoids the problems though it is not the best way to solve the
weakness issues. However, the benefit of avoiding is that it can give me time to find out some
temporary fix for that point of time.

The threats of the inability of the products increases the viability which abolish them
from the competitive market, in case the products cannot adapt with the situation or transform
the weaknesses into strengths, they will definitely be lost in the market. In my case, the
inability to maintain consistency and self-motivation can cer6e threat because despite I will
do the tasks between than the others, but any type of trivial issue can demotivate me and I
will lose all the ground to the competitors. I face many problems in the path of future success
thinking about which I need to perform in such manner that do not create many scope for
demotivation for myself. I can use my knowledge of the subject and the tools for coping up
with the situation and as I have a lot of strengths already I will manage to solve the problems
within desired time.
In case of presenting myself as the product in this competitive world of business, I
will check why the companies will hire me because I am going to sell myself in a well
reputed company that will utilise my contributions and skill in a proper way. As mentioned
before, if have competed my university course in the accounting subject that has given me
enough leverage to understand the business market and develop myself matching with the
criteria of the job market. Just as the companies produce their products by understand the
requirements of the customers and the availability of the resources, add all the facilities to
make those acceptable to the clients thus gain competitive advantage and rule the market, I
have created myself just like that. In addition it this I have all the needed trainings that make
me as an accountant to be integrative, proficient and analytical regarding my tasks and field
of knowledge (Noe et al. 2017). I am proficient in IT, have the ability to work in team and
proper interpersonal and communicative skills for which the companies mainly need to invest
for but in my case the company does not need to expend more and invest on my growth of
skills.

The companies also need not to invest more for the improvement of the product that is
me because, I have the interest to keep myself upgraded with the time and changing situation.
Now it can be said that company will be wining if it buys me as a product because I also have
the capability of managing the small teams. This is due to the fact that I have already
managed a team with cultural diversity in my university. Moreover, I will be able to
outperform my competitors as I have the working experience in a reputed firm already. These
two years of experience will give me an extra leverage to solve any type of issues in the
organisation hence the company will get exceptional skill contribution if it chooses me and
give chance to prove myself.
The market growth of account firms are growing so also the demand of the
accountants. Therefore, my market share will be high as I can effectively utilise all my
capabilities in the growth of the firm. Many of the competitors will be eliminated in this
course as I have the communication skill to be the cash cow which most of the accountants

In this model it can be seen that in question mark where low market share and high
market growth is perceived, I have low knowledge of opportunities therefore need to increase
investment for the self-growth. In Stars, where high market share and high market growth is
perceived, I have been doing well so far hence can get opportunity from the company heads.
In Dogs category where low market share and low market growth is perceived, I can say that
weaknesses are not effective hence can be dealt with easily. Finally in the Cash cow segment
where high market share and low market growth is perceived, I am doing well so far in
growing market.
Therefore, it can be concluded that I have all the skills and capabilities needed as an
accountant in the competitive world of business. Therefore, I can meet all the requirements of
the customers here the company human resource managers who will be selecting me for their
company’s growth. All the strengths are showcased properly as a product so that the
companies which are expecting a human force to be effective in their operations can
understand the abilities and hire me in their organostions as an asset.
