It is an age old theory that says leaders are born not made, but it’s true one of the many qualities
of a leader are buried right under each one of us the moment they get nurtured the leader rises
and shines. To head an organisation one has to be someone who knows the way, shows the way
and goes that way. A leader is not a post or a designation but an attitude to make things
happen.The efficiency of a leader reflects the success of his team. A strong leader is one who in
the process of leadership empowers each of his teammates so in the end it's not the leader who
wins but the team conquers. Becoming a leader might be simple but staying their is difficult,
you win a title because of your attributes but you sustain it by making others achieve those
qualities (Flanagan & Patrick 1995).
HIRING THE MANFORCE
To run an organization the first most important quality of an leader is to select the best team to
run the show. Any organisation thrives on the strength of the human resource that shape it. The
manpower working in an organization move together to reach heights of success and fame.
Hiring the right person for a job not only makes the job quality perfect but also keeps the other
operations interlinked to it running smoothly and effortlessly. Correct and effective recruitment
is definitely a very important aspect in functional operations as the right manforce definitely
decides the future of any organisation. Recruitment at any post should be done my deeply
analysing the need of that job post. Evaluating the functional requirements and taken in
consideration the strategic goals and initiatives to be fulfilled the right person should be sought
for. The recruitment process should clearly summarize job requirements, responsibilities,
qualification, working Hours, other specific requirements so that only the ones who fit into that
category reach out for further communications. The requirement chart should also specify salary
structure, added perks, and other benefits provided by the company so the applicants have a fair
idea what they are being offered for providing their services. Organizations rules and regulations
should be briefly summarised to save time on both the sides of the applicant and the employer.
The mode of advertising the recruitment agenda should definitely be one that reaches out to the
target applicants. Every job specifications has a varied lookout for the applicants, thus the
recruitment advertisements should be able to reach the masses. This can range from social media
to newspapers, radio, television and even word of mouth at so many times. Each position
requires recruitment plan to be documented. A carefully structured recruitment plan maps about
the strategies of attracting and hiring the best qualified candidates for a particular post. A special
