In the beginning the cases were taken into consideration in order to articulate best
strategy to meet their personal or individual needs. Cassie who is around 36 years, the current
situations are not in her favour. She is living a vulnerable life, there were some incidents took

not having great confidence so the strategy would hike her confidence level (Masrai, 2020)
Aran is 17 years old. He is quite good in term of his academic performance. But due to
some external factors the young man is getting misled. He is fallen in addiction of drug supply,

Reflection
I have given serious attention to the case studies so can pave way of articulating
appropriate strategies to help students. Multi agency approach refers to a group of agencies who
make participation to figure out solution of student's problems.
It is rational that if professionals are working together then there is high possibility to eradicate
issues. Multi agency approach is having need to use different tools such as mobile phone,
communication technology, internet, vocational bodies etc. individual issues can be sorted out by
using it (Zhang, 2022)
All the students were having their individual perils so there was strong need to use
different techniques. Emotional intelligence, subject specialization, employment providers, needs
of individual learners, employment opportunities, referral need etc. Cassie had sort of emotional,
attitude based perils, Aran had mental obstacles, Lissa was struggling with attitude and aptitude
related issues. So Cassie was given something which can help to improve her mental state, Aran
aided with personal support and Lissa was given better classroom ambiance and also better
employment alternatives.
Factors affecting referral process
When a teacher gives extra assistance to its students who are having rigorous requirement
of personal assistance then known as referral process. In classroom there were different issues
were being faced by students so here referral process comes into existence (Kane, 2021)
I traced couple of factors which hindered my way to perform referral process with greater
efficiency. All students had their unique problem so understanding nature of problems, self
competencies related limitations, time availability, conflict of interest, absolute needs, needed
commitment, process of action, trust issues, student approach and their inclination etc.
These all elements are having great ability to affect referral process adversely. For a
practitioner, mentor, or a coach these factors raise severe challenges to carry out referral process
effectively. For the students Cassie, Aran and Lissa it was needed to practise referral process in
used in order to hike her interest level and eradicating sense of boringness (Gustafsson and

them.
Factors enabling review the processor
The referral process which is carried out by a teacher to give special assistance to its
student, then there is need to review the process in order to make some essential changes in it.
Cassie was suffering from sort of mental trauma due to some circumstances of her life and
incidents happened to her, Aran had issues of social approaches and the way his family was
treating him,
The experiences of Cassie was very terrible, yet she was putting great efforts to come out
of these situations and making her life better. She did not have higher attendance so there was
requirement of a good coach. The role of a coach is to build confidence, bringing reliability
closer, encouraging student, promoting reflective practice, empowering individual etc.
Lissa was having problem of interest-less classes. There is need to help her to come out
of this attitude. Emotional, social and intellectual benefits can make her drive to brighter side.
With this regard being a teacher must work on her self assessment skills, social attitude, way of
perceiving things, then providing new tools, teaching assistive tools, problem solving
methodology etc. in order to provide her best ambiance in classroom so can learn better to
interest.
Aran had great skills in term of his academic performance by some extraneous factors
were misleading him (Marashi and Sadinezhad, 2022) So there is need to a mentor who is
considered to be a good critical friend who can help such student to go for introspection and
wiping out all those perils which may affect their performance in adverse direction. Here on his
social aspects the need was felt to work upon. It enabled the review process for Aran.
Task-3

Opportunities planned to improve skills pertaining to teaching and learning situations-
There are number of opportunities which are offering great scope to improver personal
and professional skills in order to make teaching practise more viable and dynamic in nature.
CPD, which stands for continuous performance development is the strategy which is
being used to develop professional performance. For sorting out the problems and issues of
students there is demand of having great professionalism. As it was already being seen in the
case, where all three students had their unique issues so in such cases with higher skills of a
teacher these perils can be eradicated.
Peer monitoring is one significant aspect to improve professional skills. While teaching
there is need for a teacher to take reviews and suggestion form peers. Since they are the people
from same branch and having great professional understanding it gives great opportunity to
inculcate more skills (Gisbert and Usart, 2018)
Observation offers quite decent opportunity to a teacher. A teacher is a person who is
engaged in a very dynamic field so with observation can perceive ongoing ideas and can allow
them to nurture inside mind. It will give good scope to make drastic improvements. Being a
teacher as the situation discussed above of three students, in such predicaments with observation
a teacher can extend better to its students.
Training can not be avoided, since everything can not be learnt by observation sometimes
special mentoring is needed so being a teacher may get enrolled for training programmes. With
training some professional aspects can be improved which are essential to perform with great
skilfulness. So all the discussed opportunities are beneficial to improve personal skills in order to
hike teaching and learning outcomes.
Analysis of own practise effectiveness-
With respect to own practise it can be summarized that for sorting out different cases of
students a wide range of strategies were used which is living testimony of great adoption
capacity being a teacher.
The cases of Cassie, Aran and Lisa were unique in nature, they all were suffering form
different set of issues and had their unique problems. In all situations the performance has been
satisfactory which paved way to help them in making their adverse circumstances favourable.

Collecting feedback and taking them into consideration is very essential, at the same time
formal observation is one best tool to change behaviour and attitude while extending help to
students as in the case all three students were treated with different strategies (Lim, Son and
Kim, 2018)
Having great command on subject knowledge has been the most effective thing in own
practise. While teaching a teacher is supposed to have great understanding of its subject domain
so can extend its best. By taking appropriate action plan personal effectiveness can be enhanced.
Moreover, effectiveness of self performance can be improved with receiving feedbacks
form a range of stakeholders, for instance peers, students, parents of students are some of the
most reliable and relevant sources of gathering information, their views would be helpful to
inculcate better practise in order to hike effectiveness.
The achievements of students are key indicators of effectiveness, a teacher is supposed to
improve its professional competencies and also must strive to put that into action and bringing
results for its students.
CONCLUSION
As the conclusion, the effective individuals learning are developed by the teacher, coach
and mentors which helps in acquire the needs of individual learners. The individual learning are
important because it allows the students that they are learned their own pace with the teacher
direction. This report discussed the responsibilities of teacher, coach and mentors which are
necessary for the individual learner in the academic areas and their effective roles to meet the
needs of the learners as well as discussed the differences in them. In the conclusion, It also
justified the strategies to meet the needs of the learners and use the resources for the multi
agency approach. It also discussed the process which are involved the mentoring, teaching,
coaching in relation to social, emotional and intellectual benefits for students as well as state the
action plans to improve the opportunities of skills.
