INTRODUCTION
Several approaches and strategies are used by managerial person to run business
smoothly. Present study is focused on understanding of leadership and team work approaches.
For better understanding of these concepts, Virgin Media has been considered in this report.
Study includes description of selection procedure, motivational practices and importance of team
management. This description is supported by suitable theories to assist management in practical
application of these approaches in their business organization.
TASK 1
1.1 Documentation to select and recruit a new staff
Sales marketing plays a significant role in the advertising of product. To achieve this
objective, Virgin Media requires a person to enhance its sales with the help of promotion in the
marketing; this in turn will meet the goals of company (Wilkinson, 2014). Every person related

situation, where there is frequency in submission of work after deadline then senior
authorities are required to take appropriable steps.
Comparison of actual and standard outcome: Actual output is required to be assessed
with the expectation made by management in planning process. In situation of severe

member of senior manager so they can carry out their work effectively.

Success of assessment plan can be made by considering the factor that supports in
achieving the objective.. With the completion of development plan, store manager should have

In accordance with the present study, conclusion can be drawn that organization is
required to develop standard process for selection and recruitment to enhance the strength of
human resources. For this aspect, they are required to follow the regulatory and ethical
framework. Management authorities should make use of effective strategies to motivate and
guide team members. For this aspect, they can make use Maslow motivational theory. In addition
to this, they are recommended to promote team work in order to attain aims and objectives of
business in an effective manner.
