PART 1
Introduction
In the current era, the business entities are facing ample of issues such as CSR issue,
corruption, child labor etc (Posa and Lippolis, 2019). The present study disussed workplace
conditions. It includes the examples of suitable companies in terms of negative and positive
aspects of working conditions. Further, it will cover the code of conducts that need to follow by
both employees as well as employers. In addition, the name of the government bodies in light of
the issues will also cover in the report. At end, it will include a CPD plan in order to identify
suitable actions and their future implications.
Idetification of issues
Workplace conditions have become a major concern for the entities in current time. Each
and every company strives to maintain positive working conditions at the workplace. However,
there are ample of issues such as conflicts, decrease the productivity, termination, high turnover,
decreased satisfaction etc. These issues create problem within the company that direct affect the
productivity and profitability of the business entity (Zhou, Zhao and Gao, 2019).
Amazon is an example of such company that has negative working conditions.
Employess of the company have complaint regarding the grueling working conditions. Here,
managers forces to the employees to work constantly without taking breaks. In addition, the
employee are overburden with unnecessary production goals and they also have to work in
unsafe working environment. Due to this, the workers of Amazon protested in 2019 to get better
working conditions (Amazon Prime Day Offers Great Sales—Here’s What Workers Suffer
Through To Make This Happen, 2021)
Microsoft is a suitale example of the organization of good working conditions. It offers
maximum support to the employees and also provide them opportunity to grow. Here, the entity
ensures to create a rewarding, respectful, diverse and inclusive culture wherein the employees
can produce necessary products or services to meet with the goals of the entity (Microsoft,
2021).
