INTRODUCTION
Workplace data is being referred to as the information which is being used by the
business to take proper decisions for growth and development of business. It is necessary to use
effective data in order to improve and take proper decision. The present report will outline the
comparison of the two different deliveries which are made on time per day. Along with this the
data will be presented with help of bar chart to clearly display the difference. Further the trends
will be discussed with help of analysis of chart. In the end, report will outline how the data was
collected and analysed and presented in proper and understandable manner.

2 Trends identified after analysis of chart
With help of the above chart it is clear that comparison of two courier service has been
undertaken that is Reliable and Flash courier. The above chart clearly outlines the fact that Flash
courier service is providing more deliveries on time in a single day. Only for two days, Reliable
courier is having more deliveries but the difference is very less. For Tuesday, there is difference

of only 3 deliveries and for Wednesday only 7 deliveries were more. But out of total 5 days only
in two days’ Reliable courier is having more deliveries. Further in remaining days Flash courier
service will be more. Thus, it can be stated that Flash courier service is doing more deliveries on
time in comparison to Reliable courier.
3 Report on how the data is collected, analysed and presented
Background of issue
In the present case, issue was the warehouse was getting regular complaints relating to
late deliveries and reduction in sales figures. Hence, for this the analysis of two different courier
service was proposed by company in order to evaluate how much service is being provided to
consumer on time.
Source of information
The source of information is being defined as source through which data to be analysed is
being collected. The reason underlying this fact is that when the source is not reliable then this
will not provide a correct data. Thus, as a result of this analysis of data will not be good and clear
(Bowen and et.al., 2017). The source of information in the present case is company data itself.
Here the information has been taken from company data only that is the performance of both
courier service is being used by warehouse for delivering the goods.
Collation, analysis and presentation of data
For the effective decision, it is very essential for the company or business to effectively
collate the data and analyse it in proper manner. The reason underlying this fact is that when the
data is being gathered in proper and effective manner then it provides a base to company for
analysis. Hence, it is very essential to effectively assimilate the data related to delivery so that
comparison can be done (Baldissone and et.al., 2019). When the data has been gathered in proper
manner then it can be used for further analysis and to take proper decision. The reason pertaining
to the fact is that when data will be analysed in proper manner then it will assist in proper
decision making and development of the business. This is majorly due to that reason that 0when
the data will be accurate then this will improve the working and decision making of the
company. hence, when the data will be analysed in proper manner then it will also be presented
in clear and effective manner.
Accuracy check

For the effective analysis of data, it is necessary that accurate data is being used. The
reason underlying this fact is that when the data will be accurate then only the analysis will
outline the actual position of company. Hence, it is very crucial for warehouse to effectively
check the accuracy of data. For checking data warehouse must clean the data and remove
unnecessary information. This is pertaining to the fact that when data which is not required will
be removed then this will improve analysis and will provide a clear picture.
Solution for data
Thus, in the case of warehouse, solution for analysis of data was to compare both the
courier service company. This was the solution because of the reason that with help of effective
comparison the company will come to know which courier service was good. Hence, this will
assist warehouse in deciding that which service of courier must be used more (Garcia-Arroyo
and Osca, 2019). The reason underlying this fact was that when the company will be having
knowledge that which company is making more on time delivery then warehouse will go with
that option only.
Presenting the recommendation to senior worker
After analysis of data, most essential aspect is to present the data. The reason underlying
this fact is that in case data will not be presented in proper way then it will not provide clear
information. On the other side when data will be presented in better and effective way then by
just viewing data company can decide what need to be done. Hence, in the present case of
warehouse, the company has undertaken use of bar chart in order to compare working and
delivery of both the services.
Finalising the solution
With the analysis and comparison of the data, it was finalised to go with the Flash
Courier service in order to deliver the goods (Kunang and Purnamasari, 2018). The reason
behind this fact is that when two companies are compared then the company having better
performance will be selected. Hence, in case of both warehouse, the Flash courier service is
being selected because it is having more deliveries on time in a single day.
Collating and storing the processed data
After the finalisation of the solution it is necessary for warehouse to store and collate the
data for future use as well. the reason underlying this fact is that when the data will be saved then
it can be used for referring in future as well. hence, for this a focus on storing the data is very

essential as when the data will be stored then this will provide a better and effective use in future
as well.
Barrier to communication and how it can be overcome
At time of analysing the data, the most essential aspect is effective communication. The
reason underlying this fact is that when the communication is not proper then this will be
creating problem and issue in solving the business problem. The major barrier to communication
at time of managing the work or taking any decision is to not have clarity relating to objective of
working then it will not deal in proper and effective manner (Socolow and Jolly, 2017). This is
particularly because of the reason that when the objective of study will not be clear then it will
not result in effective accomplishment of the objectives. Hence, for overcoming this barrier it is
advisable to the warehouse that they must have clearly set objectives and must be circulated to
everyone. This is essential so that the work can be accomplished in proper and effective manner.
Relevant protocol and procedure and duty of care
While analysing the data, there are some protocols and procedure which need to be
followed and complied. The protocol or procedure generally involves proper collection of data
relating to business problem. This is necessary because of the reason that when data will not be
gathered in accordance with protocol or relevant procedure then this will be affecting the
working of company.
CONCLUSION
The above report inferred that collecting and presenting the data is very essential for
effective working of company. The reason underlying this fact is that when the data is collected
properly and presented in better way then it will provide a better outcome. The above analysis
also concluded that presentation of data is also very important. The presentation can be done in
different manner like with help of graph, charts and other pictorial format. Along with this it was
concluded that graphical presentation provides a clear picture of the data and business can take
proper decision.
