WhenI got to bay 5, the two trainees had just loaded the gearbox onto a pallet. I picked up the palletwith the fork lift and set off to the ready-use store. Due to ineffective arrangement andinfrastructure, Alan Jones got injured. I ran to the store supervisor's office for get help.The storesupervisor came along after a couple of minutes and said the ambulance was on its way. Heasked Alan a few questions about what he was doing there in the long-term store. The ambulancearrived after about fifteen minutes. I haven’t moved the fork lift or the gearbox since theaccident. As per the research it has been identified that there is very poor culture and safetywithin the organisation. Due to ineffective working environment and poor cultural safety,employees faced accident and go serious injury at workplace. In this situation there isrequirement for management to understand the various policies and practices regarding thehealth and safety of employees at workplace.
