INTRODUCTIONMotivation and perception are two psychological elements that impact on decisionmaking of human as well as on their behaviour. These are at the base of human selection andbehaviour (Nencini, Romaioli and Meneghini, 2016) . The importance of both factors related topersonal and social understanding them. Both are complex in nature and explanations for themhave been created by numerous schools of idea. In any organisation both are playing essentialrole and provide benefits to employees as well as employer to increase performance level andgain more advantages. MAIN BODYMotivation – It is essential factor which motivate any individual to present their bestperformance and help to meet with organisational goals. A strong positive encouragementmotivation will enable the improved results of staff members but a negative encouragement willreduce performance. In other words, It is defined as key factor in personnel management ismotivation. There are two types of theories in motivation which is used by individuals as well asin organization such as content and process theories. Importance of MotivationImprove Performance level – The term of motivation can help to increase performancelevel of employees in any organisation. The capability to do work and willingness bothare effected by the efficiency of a person. It is getting through education as well astraining. To do any work required to willingness in comparison to ability like anemployees effectively perform every task due to motivation and provide effective result. Helps to change negative or indifferent attitudes of staff members – In any organisationmany staff members behave in rude and negative way. They always think negatively thatdoing more work will not bring any credit. This time a manager apply various types oftechniques to change this attitude. Reduction in Employee turn over – The image of a company is influenced by theemployee turn over because it can show negative impact. It will create many problemsfor a managers. For this give more time and go waste in repeated hiring staff membersand provide them training regarding to work. With the help of motivation can savewastages and encourage of individuals for the reduce rate of turn over. 1
