Section 1-Creating the vision board.
Introduction.
Vision board is described as a tool that assists in clarifying, maintaining focus and
concentrating to a certain goal in life (Booth & Lubkowski,2012). Basically is any board that
will display display information inform of images thus representing what one wants to
achieve in future. The vision board always takes the law of attraction to someone in order to
attain the stipulated goals in a certain field. It is designed in order to motivate and inspire
someone in carrying out the normal activities.
For one to design a vision board should consider the following;
a) Identifying one’s vision and then having a clarity over it.
b) Should reinforce the daily affirmations.
c) Lastly one ought to keep attentions to the intentions.
One need the following tools in order to design a vision board;
Magazines, scissors, markers and the paints, use of glue and tape or pins, the poster
board and one photo although in many of times it tends to be optional (Booth &
Lubkowski,2012).

Section 2-Discussion of the Vision board.
Step 1-Themes of the vision board.
I realised the following themes after creating my vision board.
(a). Success.
Everyone anticipates success in his/her lifetime. Success is how one has passion to do
something (Clarke, 2015). From the vision board my goal is to have an enjoyable life in the
next ten coming years. In order to achieve success, I should consider the following factors;
i. Identifying the passion. My passion is to work in my studies, achieve my future goals
and intensify my values together with the interest. The ‘why’ questions such as; where
do I want my legacy to be? What are some of the subjects of interest in my life? what
am I supposed to do at specific time? Adhering all these will guide me to achieve
success in my lifetime.
ii. Writing and making a list of my goals and then coming up with the apt measures that
I need to use in order to achieve my goals (Clarke, 2015). I ought to be smart in
selecting my goals and I need to break the big goals into smaller goals that will be
comprehensive to me.
iii. Considering the external success such as being educated. This means that if I achieve
in my academics I will secure good job that will support me financials. My dreams of
acquiring better life in future will come true. The vision board on my anticipated life
in next 10 years serves as the role model in my lifetime.

(b)Motivation.
Motivation is the key to my future. When the environment around favour me I
become motivated and in so doing am motivated to an extend that I work an extra mile in
area of concentration. Motivation comes from different dimensions (Hickman &
Silva,2018). School performance motivates me to have a vision and a direction on achieving
the career in future. Once I check the board I always go and work for it.
(c)Spending leisure time with my family and travelling (Hickman & Silva,2018).
In most cases I normally spend my free time with family and travelling to different
places. My happiest moments with my beloved mum forms a basis for spending my free time.
I also prefer visiting places for instance my last visit to Hawaii trip. It was an exemplary trip
to remember in my lifetime. Whenever I see it I flashback what I experienced during that
time.
Step 2-Main goals to achieve from now to future.
(a) Doing what I love.
Finding what I love doing plays big role in achieving my career (Nieto et al,2014). I
don’t want to regret in future for concentrating day to a day doing what I don’t love in my
life. At the end of my life I may sit down and look back on many which I wanted to do but I
didn’t do any. I want to achieve my job of interest after my studies. Identifying my talent will
help me choose my career.
(b) Taking care of myself.
My vision board illustrate some of the measures to keep my body health. Also taking
care of myself will enable me to stop judging, blaming and expecting too much from me

(Nieto et al,2014). This will enable me achieve my personal goals and also attain my health
benefits. All this will strengthen me thus performing better in different fields.
(c) Getting out of my comfort zone.
This is the goal I need to have since in many of times life will be boring by staying in
the same place time to time. Travelling to different places will enable access ideas and
knowledge that will help me in future like meeting my career goals (Nieto et al,2014).
Exploring places without specific planning and taking decisions without fearing and being
judged by others.
(d) Contributing beyond the expected limit.
The act of giving is the main goal want to achieve in future. The more I will give the
more I get in return (Grant,2012). This means leaving behind my personal needs and wants
and therefore trying to help others. I aspire to encourage many and share what I have with
others where I can. I anticipate to see new opportunities, toil and focus to gain something
from the identified opportunities in my lifetime.
Step 3-Comment on the activity in my vision board.
I was surprised on seeing how it’s simple to access goals and dreams by plotting them
on a vision board (Cottrell, 2015). Things were worsening without the direction but completing
my vision board I got a path. Interpreting the meanings of the images in my vision board gave
me surety that everything is achievable so long as appropriate measures and directions are
used. On other hand it was enjoyable seeing me reflecting back my past experience and
moments. The happiest moments with family members and travelling to new areas helped me
to recall how life was during that time.

Conclusion.
Vision board serves as the guiding tool to our personal goals and vision. It gives a
sense of direction (Wise et al,2010). Identifying goals and dreams then plotting them in vision
board makes life easy since it motivates and inspire someone.
