Introduction
The project management includes the tool of project status report that helps in defining
the progress of the project using appropriate documentation and processes. The project of
Refurbishment of Residential Complex by UYI Constructions has been considered for analysis
and it would involve the formation of the proper and effective documentation for evaluation of
the project status. The following report would include project name and description, name of the
organization, date of status report, project progress and performance, issues of the project,
budget status, planned activities and deliverables, network diagram and Gantt chart, review of
the risks, and project and personal reflections for the selected project.
Project name and description
The project selected for the development of the project status report is ‘Refurbishment of
Residential Complex by UYI Constructions’ and it involves the renovation of the residential
complex by the organization of UYI Constructions. The completion of the works by the
utilization of the project management tools for forming the plan for renovation works. The
renovation works would include the fixing of the floors, lights, and paints of the residential
complex. The completion of the works would involve the formation of the innovative work
alignment and integration of the successive work development. The renovation of the building
has been initiated as the building has been facing several issues like damps and dents due to rain
and water, broken floors, and old cables and wires of electricity. The completion of the project
works would be integrated with the formation of the project management integration.

UYI Constructions is a construction company that has been using effective innovation
and works for the organization and implying the use of the innovative and effective work
compilation and management. The construction company would integrate the use of the
construction principles and the listing of the works aligning the completion of the successful
work management. The utilization of the works for the management of the successive integration
analysis would be formed with the continuation of the innovative and effective work alignment.
For ‘Refurbishment of Residential Complex by UYI Constructions’ project, the organization has
deployed the individual work formation listing so that the implied renovation works can be
implemented successfully.
Date of Status report
The ‘Refurbishment of Residential Complex by UYI Constructions’ project status report
has been made as on 31st March, 2019 and the analysis would be done considering the progress
of the project till that time. The project status baseline schedule has been developed using the
MS-Project software. The date has been set as on 3/31/19 and the project activities that would be
completed before that date would be set as 100% completed. The range of 0-100% completion
would be selected in the update project option of MS-Project. The project has been updated and
the final outcome has shown that the project has been 59% completed. The activities of the
requirement analysis, contractor recruitment, PID documentation, charter planning, project
initiation meeting, sign off, activity listing, resource identification, scheduling activities, plan
approval, clearing of the complex, repairing the floor, fixing electricity, and damps and breaks
are repaired have been completed by 31st March, 2019.

According to the above project progress table, it is clear that almost 60% of the work has
been completed. The project performance can be understood as the project completed till date.
The activities of the requirement analysis, contractor recruitment, PID documentation, charter
planning, project initiation meeting, sign off, activity listing, resource identification, scheduling
activities, plan approval, clearing of the complex, repairing the floor, fixing electricity, and
damps and breaks are repaired have been completed by 3/31/19. The wall paintings have been
completed by 33% of the total works. Rest of the work like infrastructure re-modification, fans,
lights, and switches are installed, safety equipment are reinstalled, renovation work completed,
final documentation, monitoring and evaluation, review and sign off, and closure have not even
started yet. If phase wise project performance is evaluated, then the following table is seen,

It is clear from the above table that the project initiation and project planning phases of
project have been completed. The project work alignment has been implied with the formation of
the innovative work integration and management. The analysis has shown that the alignment of
the improved work has helped in meeting the target work completion by 31st march. The project
execution phase has been completed by 60% and the project closure has not started yet.
Issues of the Project

The issue identification is a major factor for the development of the effective work plan
and development of the operations. The project of ‘Refurbishment of Residential Complex by
UYI Constructions’ has been facing some issues while developing the refurbishment of the
residential complex. The probable issues of the project were,
Equipment failure: The equipment failure is a technical factor resulting in the
management of the effective and improved work formation. The renovation works would be
developed with the continuation of the successful alignment of the innovative tools listing. The
failure of the equipment would result in forming the issues in completion of the renovation
works.
Human Accidents: The accidents during the construction works would tend to result in
formation of the innovative work development and integration. The accidents during the
construction phase would tend to the delay in the formation of the effective work alignment. The
accidents by the human would tend to hindrance in the completion of the project works.
Climatic Hindrance: The changes in the climatic conditions have resulted in forming the
major issues for the management of the improved renovation works. The hindrance in favorable
climate can result in the forming the issues for work of the construction. The issues would tend
to form the major implementation issues of the machine utilization and other works.
Cost Overrun: The problem of the cost overrun is a major problem for the deployment of
the effective and smart work alignment management for the implication management. The cost
overrun would resulted in the formation of the innovative work alignment. The lack of the cost
resources has been resulted due to the lack of resources or over allocation of the resources.
Budget Status

Constructions’ has been developed using the bottom up estimation. The bottom up estimation
considers the overall cost of the project resources by multiplying the resource usage with the
standard rates of the resources. The summation of the individual cost expenses of the resources
would provide the final cost of the project. The project status date of 3/31/19 would be
considered for the analysis of the budget status as shown below,

Project and Personal Reflections
Our project was ‘Refurbishment of Residential Complex by UYI Constructions’ and it
utilized the management of the activities defining the formation of the successive implication of
the works. We involved the use of the effective schedule development using MS-Project, risk
management using risk assessment and priority matrix, cost estimation using bottom up
estimation, and project status report. The project status report has resulted in forming the
utilization of the project progress identification and listing probable implication management. I
had implied the usage of the successful work development with the implication of the project
management tools and techniques.
Conclusion
It can be concluded from the assignment that the implication of the effective work
alignment and development would be eased with the utilization of the innovative work alignment
and development. The project status reports had involved the formation of the successive
documentation using the effective work function alignment. The development of the proper and
effective project management with the help of innovative work alignment was assisted by the
formation of the work status report. The integration had implied with the successive work and
development management. The project of ‘Refurbishment of Residential Complex by UYI
