Professional Year 2015 BSBWOR401A - Establish effective workplace relationships Final Assessment Part 1: The Protagonist According to the personality test, my personality trait is a protagonist with greater alignments of assertiveness and judging. Although there are other individual traits like extraversion, intuition, and feeling, they contribute less to the personality type. Ideally, people who are considered protagonists have different characteristics. First, protagonists have a sense of curiosity either natural or instigated by the events that happen around them. It is this curious feature that triggers their actions that catapults them to various situations1. Second, protagonists are always empathic. This quality is usually caused by the sense of curiosity and duty that makes them have a feeling of care to those around them. Although there are variations in how empathic protagonist can be, this is a standard characteristic that they exhibit in different situations that they found themselves1. Third, consistency defines the typical protagonists. Due to the assertiveness they possess, as it is with my cases from the results, they usually don’t act out of character, consequently, it is difficult for people to get confused or annoyed by their actions or behaviors. Fourth, people considered to be a protagonist have superior intelligence or strengths. This characteristic is based on the fact that the protagonist is driven by goals and bravery in all their undertakings1. To sum up, protagonists experience change just like any other people. Due to the nature of the relationships, they are in or the interaction levels that undergo, they are bound to adjust and match the existing system. This quality is common among t protagonists. Part 2: Emotional Quotient According to my Emotional Quotient results, I have a high emotional intelligence. It is more likely that my EQ has been the reason behind my performance under pressure. Professional Year 2015 twice IQ and technical skills combined, the results reveal that I am in a good place to stay aligned to personal goals and have little or limited distractions that can deviate my actions2. Further, the results show that there are areas I need to work on including reflecting on what aspects brings meaning to my life2. This recommendation is based on my performance in the tests and tries to highlight the areas that need improvement to avoid being tranquilized or sedated by small details. According to the results on my emotional agility insights, they suggest that I have developed excellent emotional agility skills. The skills are meant to serve me across many aspects of life in different situations. However, the results reveal three critical areas that may make me falter. First, is the issue of staying stuck in my emotions and experiences. Second, having a sense of what is important and of value to me would help in bringing consistency in what I undertake3.
