1. Task 1: Develop workplace sustainability policy
1.1 Scope of sustainability policy
Purpose: The sustainability policy is developed for executing the activities of the
operative development. The purpose of the sustainability development would be helpful
for aligning the strategies for dealing with the probability of sustainability issues.
Scope: The alignment issues can result in forming the major problems for BC software
Pty Ltd would result in forming the major problems for the execution of the improved
functional issues and development.
Definitions: The sustainability problem would result in forming the utilization of the
effective implication development for the issues identified for the BC software Pty Ltd.
The sustainability policy is a set of rules defined for the execution of the activities in the
organization along with the definite solution to the definite problems.
Policy Statement: The new policy of BC software Pty Ltd. would take necessary steps
for decreasing the consumption of equipments and materials, improving the equipments
and materials, increasing the energy efficiency, space utilization, and reduction of office
waste.
Responsibility: The policy would be helpful for reducing the wastage of the materials
and effective utilization of the sustainability policy and deployment of the improved
operations. The major responsibilities of the sustainability operations are the factors that
would allow the utilization of the improved functional and development factors.
Legislative Context: The sustainability policies would be aligned with the industry
information and applicable legislative and occupational health and safety (OHS)
guidelines.
