This research proposal aims to investigate the impact of the global pandemic on accelerating workplace transformation in Bright Stars. The study will determine the concept of workplace transformation, examine the impact of COVID-19, and assess strategies for accelerating the workplace transformation successfully during the pandemic. The research will use a positivism research philosophy, deductive research approach, mono method in the form of quantitative data collection method research choice, and survey in the form of questionnaire research strategy.

I have chosen this project because pandemic has spoiled most of the
businesses. Therefore, its impact and strategies to overcome the
negative impact is to be studied. It is in my personal interest as
business management is my key area. I want to improve my research
and written communication skills along with the time management and
problem solving behavior. This topic is important because it not only
helps the organization in coping up the negative impact on workplace
transformation but has also assisted me in my academic as well as in

my professional career also. Future plans are related with the
businesses tactics and models which can be used in this current
pandemic.

According to Phillips, (2020), workplace transformation is defined as
the strategy of enhancing and improving the skills of workforce and
their abilities in order to keep up with the organizational changes. Such
changes can be done in several departments of the company. Such as it
can be in the operations of cutting cost or it can be in the research and
development department or human resources and marketing and also
can be the finance as well. Changes in entire business model and
cultural diversity is important in the time of covid 19 pandemic for
better team management and improvements in productivity as well.
According to Kim, (2020), In context of bright stars company, it
provides the technical and networking services to their clients. They
need to transform its workplace in regards with the cultural diversity
during pandemic. This is because covid 19 has led to the lay off of
employees and high employee turnover. That is why it is important for
the company to transform its workplace by making the positive working
culture and management of staff diversity as well. There are different
types of people who have assorted backgrounds and values along with
the education and attitudes. These are required to be managed in an
effective and efficient manner.
Impact of covid 19 on fostering workplace transformation in Bright
stars
According to Nagel, (2020), there are several positive impacts of covid
19 on fostering workplace transformation in Bright Stars. Company has
initiated in the rapid reskilling of the employees so that changes can be
adopted according to the situations. Company has focused on the
changing leadership styles and management competencies also. They
have tried to maintained the culture of trust and transparency along

with the openness. They have targeted the well being of individual and
team as well. Therefore, they have started working in a more agile way.
According to Kudyba, (2020), There are several negative impacts also of
covid 19 on fostering workplace transformation in Bright stars.
Company has faced the difficulties during pandemic because of the lock
down situation. Staff were allotted work form home which has resulted
in the communication gap and some sort of losses also. Moreover, due
to the differences in culture. Managing staff was becoming problematic
and that is why company though of workplace transformation in terms
of culture diversity management.
Strategies for accelerating the workplace transformation successfully
during pandemic in Bright stars
According to de Lucas Ancillo, del Val Núñez and Gavrila, (2021), there
are several strategies which can be adopted by Bright Stars in order to
cope up with the negative impact of covid 19 for accelerating the
workplace transformation. Improvement in remote working is one of the
strategy in which the organization must install the team management
software where communication can be performed without any gaps with
proper interaction among the team members of the company. Company
must conduct the market research about the competitors that how they
are managing in order to maintain the competitive edge in the market
place. Culture management must be improved wile conducting the
management activities in remote working so that proper engagement
can be made among the employees.
According to Yeganeh, (2021), moreover, company must focus on the
contingent worker expansion and expanded role of the employer as
social safety net. This can separate the critical skills and roles while de
humanization of the employees. Engagement of the new top tier
employees is mandatory for better transition from designing for
effectiveness and efficiency to designing for resilience. These are the
strategies which can be adopted by the Bright Stars for accelerating the

Research Philosophy consist of three areas that are positivism and
realism along with the interpretivism. The research will choose the
positivism research philosophy. Research approach consist of three
areas that are deduction and abduction along with the induction. The
research will choose the deductive research approach. Research choice
consist of three areas that are mono method and mixed method along

with the multi method. The research will choose the mono method in
the form of quantitative data collection method research choice.
Research strategy consist of eight areas that are experiment and survey
along with the archival research and case study which is followed by
the ethnography and action research and also the grounded theory and
narrative inquiry. The research will choose the survey in the form of
questionnaire research strategy. Research time horizon consist of two
areas that are cross sectional and longitudinal. The research will choose
the cross sectional that is short term investigation research time
horizon. Research techniques and procedures consist of two areas that
are primary and secondary. The research will choose the both primary
and secondary research data collection methods.
