Topic– The main title of the present research work will be workplace transformation influenced by covid19 pandemic disruption for workers – A study of Hyperlink Info System INTRODUCTION Aim :The main aim of the current research work is to evaluate the impact of workplace transformation due to covid19 pandemic on the workers of Hyperlink Info System Objectives: Following are the research objectives that have been accomplished for the fulfilment of the study, To understand the concept of remote working and how employees have reacted to the change in their work routine To evaluate the impact of working from home on the well-being and job satisfaction of the workers To analyse the influence of remote working on productivity of the workers To recommend strategies for making improvement in practices adopted by company in remote working Background of the study In the current era transformation at the work place has been considered to be very important for being able to gather growth experiences required for the achievement of the operations. In this study the organization that is selected is the Hyperlink Info System which is multinational organization that is headquartered in Ahmedabad, India. This company has many offices in USA, UK, France and Australia. Rationale The motive of this research is to be able to analyse the concept of how changes in the workplace can transform the company and lead it towards the generation of growth. This study would help researchers to find out about how changes in the work place can influence growth in an organization. LITERATURE REVIEW As per the view ofFlores, (2019)the remote work is the practice that is considered to be very practice in which the employees work for their job in a location other than their central office operated by employer. In this system the location of the employee can be its home, co- working or other shared space. This is also considered to be the space outside of the traditional 1
corporate office.Delfino and van der Kolk, (2021)added that remote work is a benefit for the company as it includes the increase of employee satisfaction and retention that has been able to increase both productivity and cost saving for the physical resources of the organization. Employees have been able to adopt with the remote working culture which provides them a level of flexibility that is essential for achievement of their professional growth. Employees believe that they can be more effective through remote working as it provides the flexibility that is essential. According toHermann and Paris, (2020)remote working which increased during the Covid-19 was the key factor that affected the physical and mental well-being of the individuals. Due to remote working many people lacked social interactions which affected their mental health. It was the factor that led the individuals to develop mental disorders such as depression and anxiety.Isaacs Russell, (2020)added that lack of physical experiences has been the major factor that was the reason for poor physical reactions that left workers too much worse physical conditions. Hence, it has been found that due to the remote working the conditions of employees got worse during the pandemic. Tanpipat, Lim and Deng, (2021)explained that the sudden shift to a remote work setup was considered to be surprisingly stressful conditions that was able to gather the people, organization and society the work that involved support for business leaders as their mental health was influenced the mindful initiatives into the workplace. It was found that there was a sudden increase in the psychological and emotional workload which was highlighted as the stress and anxiety levels for enhancing the long term employees well-being.Puglisi and et.al., (2021)analysed that the organization for being able work effectively in order to be able recommend regular factors that can bring organization growth. Remote work has been seen to be the key factor that allowed the employees to work and also be able to gain the professional development in a way that allowed them to increase their performance and experiences. Molino and et.al., (2020) has been able to analyse that the remote working has been able to increase the stability or increase the practices that are related to the increasing the work of the individuals from remote experiences. The ability of the organization has been considered to be the key factor that influences the decrease in the operating costs that has increases the business profits. In this research two research philosophy can be used interpretivism and positivism. The current study is going to use the interpritivism research philosophy for becoming the study that involved the subjective interpretation for the research. Data collection method Data collection methods for a research are of two types which are primary and secondary which in the current study both these methods are going to be used for collection of the most relevant data. Primary data are the ones which are collected at the sources as they can be resutls from a survey of employees from Hyperlink Info System. However the secondary data is the one that is collected through the reconnoitring of the different journals for the articles books and scholarly that is related to the work. 3
Sampling The sampling is the technique in which a sample size of population is taken in the terms of 30 employees of the company in this research. In this research the random sampling technique is going to be used for this selection for offering equal rights to the workers for getting selected in the survey. Data analysis method Therearegenerallytwodifferenttypesofdataanalysismethodtypewhichare qualitative and quantitative. For this research the qualitative research type has been used for being able to use the set of strategies, techniques and assumption that is used for the study psychological,socialandeconomicprocessthroughtheexplorationofnumericpatterns. Qualitative data analysis method is going to help in the development of thematic analysis in the finding through various themes. It has helped me to evaluate the corrective research methodsuch as 12
using qualitativetype, inductive approach and interpretivismphilosophy so that meeting the objectives such as understanding the concept, etc. has become possible. I came to know that survey via primary data collection method such as using questionnaire has helped in having effective information. I have evaluated that there are certain lacking areas which is required to be focused which include time management and organizing tasks is difficult. It has not allowed me to complete the research project on deadline and precise manner. This can be overcome via using effective schedule formulation through prioritizing the activities. Further consideration for the research can be done effectively via using quantitative research and selecting larger sampling size can become possible. It can allow to have corrective and depth understanding about the highlighted subject matter. CONCLUSION From the above report it can be concluded that there is higher level of the impact of workplace transformation due to covid19 pandemic on the workers. For completing the research in effective manner, the project has involved formulation of research aim & objectives so that significant road map for carrying forward the research has become possible. This has involved literature review which is based on the themes that has helped in evaluating that remote working brings the change in the work routine. Impact includes inclined productivity, etc. and influence on the working productivity which involve having flexibility, etc. which helps in accomplishing roles and responsibilities. Recommendations It is recommended to pay attention on having effective time schedule for attaining the roles and responsibilities so that the challenge of having family conflict ca be eliminated. The main reason behind the application of this strategy is to achieve good form of remote workingcultureso thatpositivebalancebetweenwork and personallifecan be established. This is suggested to have the effective feedback mechanism so that eliminating the technical disruption which hampers the overall performance can become possible. The main fact behind the execution is to offer smooth processing so that good approach to meet organizational requirements via employees through solving issues can become possible. 13
