INTRODUCTION
The successful business project can be made by adopting and implementing the appropriate
process in the project management from where the company can be able to increase their
productivity and growth at definite level. The organisation named Morrison a supermarket
located at United Kingdom is required to conduct a small project of Transformation of the
workplace where they have to adopt innovative digital transformation for making the company
grow and develop successfully (Fesenko, Shakhov, Fesenko, Bibik and et.al., 2018).
The present report will illustrate the brief description about the challenges and issues the
company is facing during the transformation. In a project planning, it is important to consider as
it will define the scope of the project and mention a Gantt chart and work breakdown structure to
track out the activities in definite manner. It also includes a project management plan, primary
and secondary research, findings and reflective practise which will provide the relevant
justification and solution of the issue. In the research, the primary and secondary both research
will be conducted which will provide the enough knowledge and information about the business
and project.
Topic: To evaluate issues and challenges of workplace transformation- a study of Morrison.
Aim- The aim behind conducting this research is based upon the identification of challenges and
issues faced by Morrison while doing workplace transformation.
Objectives
To development an understanding about the workplace transformation.
To identify different technique of effective workplace transformation.
To evaluate different challenges and issues faced by Morrison while doing workplace
transformation.
To recommend innovative ways and strategies in which workplace transformation within
the company can be achieved successfully.

Project Management Plan
A project management plan is a document which describe that how the project is
executed, monitored and subjected from where the project can be successful. The project
management plan includes the different outline such as scope, goals, budget, timeline and
deliverables of the project from where the project can be keep going and can provide the
effective and successful results (Tonchia, 2018). The performance of the project has been
measured against the performance measurement standards which are included in project
management planning. Project management plan covers following aspects:
Cost The factor cost is the significant area to be considered in the project
management planning as it describes the overall project budget and
finance within a project which are supported by long term funds and
finance. The effective management of the costing will ensure that the
project is on the correct path and can help to accomplish the goals. The

Scope The scope of the research for the company are to understand the concept
of workplace transformation and implement the innovative digital

effective research about this topic, the company will able to identify
challenges and obstacles faced by the company in order to maintain

workplace transformation (Giao and Trang, 2021).
Time Time is the most precious element and factor to be considered where
total time in collection of data, sampling, assessment and charts and
reports will be approximately 2 months.
Quality In this project, the researcher will use the primary and secondary
research to the conduct the appropriate form of information and data. In
the primary data, the questionnaire will be conducted and while the
secondary research will be collected through reliable sources.
Communication In order to complete the project efficiently in the set time, the researcher
is required to be in proper interaction (Andrei, Casu-Pop, Gheorghe and
et.al., 2019).
Risk The risk is always involved in the project management within time and
cost in the project where the false form of data collection will be unable
the research to accomplish the investigation in proper manner.
Resources The researcher requires various resources in order to ample the research
report such as internet, advanced technologies, finance, transportation,
laptop, phones, books and journals, articles, etc. 700
Details of activities to be carried out
Initiation: The project initiation simply refers as where the project manager has to implement
some major activities at the starting of the project from where they can be able to accomplish the
project on time and in appropriate manner. However, the initiation stage includes the
identification of the objectives, identifying the project risk, development of the project scope and
at last the project closure. This all steps have to be covered where the planning is the most
important thing to be considered by the project manager at the initial planning stage.
Planning: The term planning means collection of the resources and information
which has to be used while the project from which the company project can be able
to become successful. This process will include the documentation, proposal
making and creation of aims and goals to set the appropriate target and can put the

efforts to accomplish the goals in definite manner. In any project implementation,
the planning is the most important thing a company needs to consider from where
the upcoming risk can be identified and can plan to overcome and reduce that
issues in particular manner (Tereso, Ribeiro, Fernandes, Loureiro and et.al., 2019).
Execution: The execution defines as implementation where it is the stage to apply
and implement the planning which has been done in definite manner. However, the
project has been required to adopt the process of monitoring and controlling and
also have to do adjustment of the task should be done in this stage. For example,
communication between the team members and managing the budget effectively
from where the company’s project can be initiated and executed in definite
manner.
Closure: The final stage is closure which means stage refers to ending of the
project. Now, at this stage, the project manager is required to evaluate and analyse
the final result and outcome of the effectiveness of the project. Along with this, the
analysis of the project performance is also required to be done where it will help
the project to be able to get the effective result and can solve the issue by putting
more efforts and ideology throughout the project management.
Gantt chart and WBS
Gantt Chart: It is a kind of bar chart that elaborate a project agenda. It is
basically a tool which assists the researcher in the planning and scheduling of
projects of all sizes, however, it is useful for simplifying tangled tasks.
