Topic : “How the organization has been transformed in the wake of the major
external events.”
Introduction
Workplace transformation is the process of rethinking of the procedure and flexible
workspaces accommodate various kinds of technology, workers and work. It develops
renderings, floor plan and tailoring budgets of a workplace. The external event which is coming
in the organisation is covid 19 which is impacting the businesses in positive and negative way.
This external event has transformed the organisation in being digitally (Kensbock, and
Stöckmann, 2021). The selected organisation within this research project is Morrisons. It is one
of the largest chain of supermarket of UK. It was founded in the year 1899. This report includes
project aim and objectives, literature review and research methodology and data analysis.
Project aim and objectives
Aim : "To determine the consequences of major external event on workplace transformation". A
study on Morrison.
Objectives :
To determine the meaning of transformation in workplace.
To analyse the consequence of external event on workplace transformation of
Morrisons.
To examine the ways through which challenges in workplace transformation can be
overcome by managers of Morrisons.
Project management plan
Scope : The scope of this research project is that workplace transformation is most
important now a days and creating opportunities for the organisation. Digital workplace
transformation is described as consisting of new techniques and that is why it is having
broad scope in future (Moll, 2021).
Cost : The cost associated with this research is $800. there is a use of primary and
secondary method which needs lot of amount to collect data and information. Primary
data need more amount as competed to secondary data collection method.

Communication : If communication is done effectively, then respondents could give
reliable information. In this verbal and non verbal communication is done effectively.
Time : Research project should be completed on time. The time selected within chosen
project is about 10 weeks. Further, Gantt chart and WBS are used to complete this project
on shorter time period (Schneider, and Kokshagina, 2021).
Resources : Resources needed for completion of this project is pen, paper, books and
articles, respondents and time etc. these helps in completion of this project in effective
manner. Also achieving project aim and objectives.
Quality : The quality is the most important think which is to be maintained by researcher.
In this project, investigator has collected information directly through respondents which
provide true and reliable information about a project topic.
Risk : Some of the risk associated with this project is lack of interest of respondents in
filling questionnaire. Further, there could be lack of financial resources. These risk could
be identified by conducting this research (Yu, Shen and Khazanchi, 2021). To overcome
from these risk, research has make secondary research which brings true and reliable
information about a given topic and also it does not requires more cost.
Gantt chart : Gantt chart is the type of bar charts which depend on the relationships
between activities performed and current schedule. It consist of vertical and horizontal axis. This
was a chart that is to be performed within vertical axis and intervals on horizontal bars.
