Introduction
Skin aging those results in wrinkle and scar is common issue being faced by the women.
They undergo various types of treatment and medication to make the skin healthy for example
micro needling and Fractional RF. Therefore, the paper aims to provide education about outcome
of these two therapy by addressing the following question “In middle-aged woman is micro
needling or fractional RF more beneficial in reducing wrinkles and improving skin
elasticity?”
Overview of the treatment
The occurrence of wrinkle is common in women, which arise with aging. To treat the
skin problem many therapy have proved to be beneficial which includes micro needling and
fractional radio frequency therapy. Micro needling make use of multiple sterile tiny needles to
puncture the skin. The technique depends on increasing the secretion of collagen by causing
trauma in the skin. It is evident that collagen helps in improving the elasticity of the skin (Gold,
Sensing & Biron, 2019). Fractional radio frequency therapy is mainly done to tighten the skin.
The therapy makes use of radio frequency to create heat in the skin and breakdown the old
elastic fibre and collagen. It then stimulates the cell regeneration for healthier skin (Roh et al.,
2017). In today’s generation both therapy are common, it is reported that in Australia the most
prevalent therapy is fractional radio frequency with 87% women being in favour of this therapy
(Wang et al., 2017).
Pathophysiology of wound
It is reported that Fractional radio frequency is more beneficial treatment of wound. From
the review of literature, it was known that wound area classified into four type, which includes
