From this letter I want to drag your attention towards the social issues which are addressed in
media. Due to covid-19 it has been observed that there is a lockdown in most of the countries in
order to control the Deadly disease (Esposito and Principi, 2020). Due to the lock down students
who came from another country to study suffers a lot. The students who earn their livelihood
from part time jobs have lost their jobs due to the lockdown and not able to support their life due
to you know income. Lack of money makes them homeless and restriction on travel restrict them
to go to their home country. And the flights which allow them to go to their home country have
unaffordable fares which cannot be awarded by a student. International students in Australia
during the lockdown have face lots of challenges and deal with increase desperate financial
circumstances and the considered this pandemic as looming humanitarian crisis. There are
several examples which show lots of efforts and problems faced by students during the covid-19
there are so many Institutions which help these students like Melbourne city institute of
education help lot of students by providing those means every day. In this pandemic it is
advisable to help more and more people in order to face this hardship. This letter has been
crafted to gain your attention towards the social policy issues which are faced by international
students in the country (Evans, 2020).
Issues faced by international students
Several issues which need to be attentively solve by higher authorities as they are serious issues
for the residents and international students in the country. Some of the issues which are faced
due to the covid-19 lockdown have been given below:
Unemployment: Unemployment is a situation where the willing and deserving candidates
are not getting jobs to earn their livelihood. Due to the pandemic the students who are earning
their livelihood from part time job get unemployed as they are lay off from the cafes due to the
lock down of business of Cafe. Is unemployment cause several problems in the life of students as
