Youth and Crime: An Analysis of Police v CW [2012] NSWChC 16

This article analyzes the case of Police v CW [2012] NSWChC 16 with respect to the nature of the crime and its consequences. It discusses the age-crime curve, mesosystem, and exosystem and identifies the factors that affect a child in forming his understanding and reacting to a situation. The article concludes that juveniles who commit such crimes need proper nurturing and education.
