9.0 Conclusion
During the current economic crisis, youth unemployment into Spain has worsened. It is
concluded from the analysis is that there is serious shortcomings into the education system of
Spain as well as labor market. It raises a higher level of unemployment. Early school leaving
along with imbalance into the job supply as well as demand at educational level are the causes of
youth unemployment. It becomes critical for the youngsters to access to the labor market and
provides a negative impact on the professional career. From the last two decades, Spain is out
from the list of higher rate of early school leavers, therefore there is some improvement into the
rate of unemployment. The unemployment rate among the young people into primary education
system is more than secondary education such as university degree. From the provided data, it is
analyzed that temporariness is common among the youth of Spain.
As the control measures of unemployment, training programs are continued to train
people about importance of education system. The young people are encouraged to remain into
the education system via education policies which improve over their education appealing. There
is also control over the school absenteeism. The schools are playing a big role into creation of
training plans and financing of the internship programs. Based on the labor market, the main
benefits are reducing the segmentation along with activation of the unemployed young people.
The Spanish government requires stepping efforts in order to improve the employment prospects
of youth those offered solutions for entering into labor market with not sufficient skills. In the
future, Spain should increase their schooling age to 18 for those who are not completed their
upper level secondary education in addition to vocational training. The researcher guarantees that
education and training is required at the earlier age.
