3YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT IN SPAIN1.0 IntroductionFlek, Hála and Mysíkova (2015) stated that evolution of the unemployment among youngpeople under the age of 25 years into Spain followed patterns into the European Union. Annualunemployment rate is higher into Spain which increased from the year 2009. The purpose of thispaper is to study the youth unemployment into Spain by investigating the characteristics as wellas consequences and suggesting of proper measures to handle it. This particular paper alsoanalyzes the main factors which are responsible for higher vulnerability of the young people intothe economic crisis. It also focuses of the possible measures aim to encourage creation of jobsfor the young people those are unemployed. It also include of graphs and charts with the data onyouth unemployment for period between the year 2009-2012 (Cabases Pique, Pardell Vea andStrecker 2016). Based on the labor market into Spain, young people are of aged among 16-25. This paper had critically analyzed an article namely “The EU youth guarantee – a criticalanalysis of its implementation in Spain” and also analyzed the evolution of age group of 16-25years and 26-29 age groups of young people. From the evidence, it is investigated that evolutionof the unemployment among young people over past decades followed similar trend of Europeanaverage (Sanchez, 2012). The analysis will show that change into the economic cycle into Spainlead to growth into unemployment. This paper identifies the causes which makes theemployment situations of the young people more critical into Spain. It provides with detailedanalysis of the young unemployment throughout the economic crisis.

Between the years 2008-2012, almost three million of jobs werelost, and the result was that 10 percent of employment level had fallen while unemployment roseto 5.6 million with rate of 24.6 percent. This percentage is highest into the European Union (EU).Significant decline into the youth employment has not influenced age groups with young peopleare hard hit (Cabases Pique, Pardell Vea and Strecker 2016). There are many young people ofage below 25 years are unemployed in the year 2012, therefore the youth unemployment rate inSpain is 52 percent. The working condition of the young population is focused on efficiency of the educationsystem. Into the business environment, supplying of job as well as increasing demand of trainingneeds is based on quantity of the educational level (Zimmermann et al. 2013). There is arelationship between the educations systems as well as job market is also bidirectional. With theeconomic crisis into the Spanish real estate, most of the young people those have lowereducational level are unemployed. At first the researcher looks at the causes of the youthunemployment into Spain due to deficiencies of the educational system as well as labor market.The most significant causes are early school leaving as well as polarization of the education.Eichhorst and Neder (2014) stated that educational related decisions as well as evolution of thelabor market are inter-connected.
