Introduction
Education is the key towards success and becomes a well developed human being.. To grow in
this world of globalization and immense competition one needs to be very much efficient
through their learning abilities to cope up with the technology. In all this, the teachers play an
immense and valuable role According to some researchers the education system is a field of
imperative learning and development. It helps society to get through knowledge about different
kinds of things. This also helps people to grow in their carrier and individually. In this report, the
detailed study regarding national policies and initiatives are being taken for the education of the
14-19 age range. In other aspects, the emphasis has been done on the working of the selected age
group in training and education. In relation to this, the relations between schools and other
education providers are also being shown(ROGERS, 2017).. This report is mainly focusing on
the age group from 14 to 19 years that is the adolescent years. A full proof analysis is being done
on the teaching approaches and learning and assessment of the teachers and students
respectively. The learning styles teaching styles and the ensuring of the style if it is right or
wrong for the students is also being discussed in this report.

The Education of the UK age ranged from 14 to 19, the Government over there has taken various

syllabus of 14- 19 age group students have laid importance on preparing the students as well as

PLTS (Personal, Learning, and thinking skills) – the UK government has undertaken various
types of initiatives in order to help the needy people for developing the economy of the UK
more. Enormous types of action plans are been implemented by the Government for maintaining
the stability of the economy. PLTS is considered as a type of structure that mainly comprised of
the six segments. Particularly this framework consists of effective managers and participants,
independent inquiries, and the workers of the team. However, PLTA is not a small unit it also
has reflective learners, creative thinkers who provide the unit with the innovative notion. This
framework helps in providing the students who are running from the age group 14 to 19 with
better education and also with better skills. Further PLTS will also help the students of younger
age with proper guidance and how they will move forward in their career. It is quite sure that the
learners usually apply all of these six segments in a very unique manner due each of the
categories are interrelated with others(Sites.google, 2018).. PLTS helps in improving the
students internally as well as externally by implementing various creative thoughts within them
which also helped them in nurturing more. These types of skills, innovative ideas parallelly the
education enhances the students mind more and develop more whereby making their future
bright. Moreover, a leaflet is also structured for the implementing and planning of PLTS
(Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills), the leaflet comprised of sets of syllabus questions like
how to achieve, what is to be achieved, time for achievement is also being mentioned in the
leaflet. The segments of PLTS is described below elaborately
Independent enquirers - this part is considered to be the most fundamental segments of PLTS. In
this stage, the students who are running within the age group of 14 to 19 are questioned and
answered along with how to resolve the issues. In this stage only various types of researches as
well as planning are done to carry the delicate matter is a proper way Edge, 2018).
Worker of the team – the team workers work in collaborate in order to achieve the determined

set various objectives as well as the goals for their development. This also helps the learners to
improve as well as to know how much they are improving in particular tasks. This will lead to
the success of the age group of 14 to 19 and this is very important within students to lead a better
career.
Ofsted Schools Standards – the government of the UK has also set the Ofsted standard of
Schools that portray the student's progress from getting admission to the school. The Ofsted
school of standards, however, consists of some of the features and the inspection is done as per.
Like for example how the skills like reading, mathematical skills, communication skills are
taking place within a school and how well students over there are applying those skills is the

and ethnicity the individual have the authority or freedom to have the light of the education and
also have the right to take admission in any school in which the individual feels interested to get
admission for schooling. And not only this, according to the Equality Act of 2010, it also ensures
that in the training center and in the school there must be a positive environment and must
possess a good relationship and equality among the students. The Equality Act also helps to

facilitate to ensure the growth or development and perspective of the nation. This equality Act is
not only acquired in the educational sector but this Act is beneficial for the individual those who
run public and as well as the private sector firm. If any individual those who run the private
sectors firms adopt this equality Act in the work environment. It will be beneficial for the
worker's and as well as the workers those who are working in the firm. The discrimination on the
ground of gender, age, and the cast is considered to be the negative factor that ruins the work
environment and bring the unproductive result in case of productivity. So in order to maintain a
stable environment not only the educational institute but the service sectors should also adopt the
Equality Act which is proposed by the government of the United Kingdom. According to this
equality Act, there is a special kind of treatment which are been specially arranged for the
women those who are pregnant. There are many kinds of benefits which are given by many of
the service sectors for the women who pregnant. They are entitled to paid leave during their
pregnancy and after delivery. There are many kinds of special protection during pregnancy
which are been arranged for pregnant women. Thus, this equality Act of 2010 acts and proves as
effective in providing the education of the age group of 14 to 19 years(Fella and Dybanb, 2017)..
Equipping our teachers for the future - Equipping our teachers for the future, this is
considered as the legal framework which has been created by the government of the United
Kingdom. This legal framework is been created by the government in order to provide a new
offer for the trainee teacher. In this legal framework, it helps to facilitate the teacher to the new
qualified teacher learning and skills award in order to get the better quality of teachers those who
can be capable of giving good teaching in the various type of learning centers(Oecd, 2018)..
Teachers are considered to be the main pillar of the education system so it is very vital that the
teacher should have enough knowledge before teaching to any of the students. So in order to
teach to the high standards are been set in order to provide good support in the teachers in the
workplace. There are various examples, one such examples id the lifelong learning which is
promoted by the United Kingdom. This is been provided through investing in partnership and the
providers. There are also some of the current rules and regulation which are also amended on the
time to time basis by the teacher's qualification and the standard of teaching. This also helps in
improving education furthe(Policyconnect, 2018). r. The quality of the teacher's education
creates a direct impact on literacy, skill and language, numeracy.

Duty of care – there are various aspects which are very vital or prominent to enhance the
learning of the age group those who lie in between the 14 to 19 years of age. The teacher those
who have greater experience in this teaching field will have greater work experience. This higher
experience will have increased the chances of employability. Although the teachers those who
teach in a particular field must be experienced and should have enough knowledge. Enough
knowledge of the teacher will help to improve and will also lead to an increase in the motivation
of the students(Mheducation, 2018). The more knowledge of the students will also help the
students to get attracted towards the class and subject. The motivation of the teacher will also
help the student to enhance their knowledge further for the growth and development in the
future. At present, the teacher should be enough skilled in order to teach the student those who
are in the rage of 14 to 19 years of age. Hence the teacher those who will be entitled to teaching
the students must ensure that knowledge of the teacher so that the teacher can provide good
quality of education to the students. There should be specific criteria for selecting the teacher.
The structured work experience will also help the society to move forward so that there is a
development in the society(Igt.hscic, 2015)..
Reflective report
With the completion of the report, I will give a briefing about my role in relation to working with
the 14-19 age groups of students. I will provide good support to this approach by working in an
organization that sets policies and protocols. Here I will make sure that the regulations that are
being made will concern with the students well being and meet their expectations. So that they
can learn better and shone in life, furthermore I will set strict rules and regulations in the
selection procedure of teachers so that good learning techniques can be achieved by the students.
A, for example, I can decide the success criteria of the teachers so that a lot of students belonging
to an age group 14-19 can get effective and good educations.
I will also take up some initiatives in the promotion of inclusion practice and children inclusion
belonging to 14-19 age groups. Through this, I will ask students to suggest some learning
practices According to their interest field. This will help the teachers and students to form a
cohesive force and act accordingly. This will make the students give their active participation in
learning. The students will feel comfortable and the teachers too. at this point, I will conduct
some seminars and presentations for both the teachers and students so that both can grow in their

role in an efficient manner. At the same time, the challenging behavior of the students will not be
tolerated by me as for this I will have strict punishment rules for the students. For example, I will
set the dress code for the students so that they can focus only on their studies and not in dressing
styles each and every day to school. This will help them to be in some limitations and in a
definite protocol for their self-development. To improve the challenging behavior of the
students’.I will order teachers to follow some good and efficient punishment strategies so that
they will not show that type of behavior in the future and not to tolerate this type of nuisance of
the students. Moreover, the students will have that type of environment where they will share
their learning thoughts and improve their skill. With all this, I will also ensure that proper
assignments and task are being assigned to the students so that they can get a thorough
knowledge about the things they have learned in the classroom with the help of the students. This
will help me to manage and give proper guidance to the teaching and learning aspects of teacher
and students respectively.
All this help to maintain the school decorum and help students to build their interest in studying
a thing in a very efficient and detailed way. I will also initiate a peer and self-assessment
approach where the teachers can feedback about their work from each other. On the other hand,
the students will also get feedback from their own classmates. I think these approaches are the
most effective way to improve one’s own personality and improving the hurdles that help to
become a more efficient human being. Reflective practices can help oneself to analyze the faults
and the high points for development and I will encourage this system of self-assessment. For
example, I will ask the students to give their feedback and reflection on certain matters beholding
some criteria. This will help the teachers to see the lack in a specific place of teaching and can
upgrade that accordingly. This will help the teachers to follow the right kind of strategy. On
another way the students those who are performing really good in studies will be rewarded for
their work to motivate them to do good in the future and the students those who have not
performed well, I must tell the teachers to see their lacking point and try to upgrade that will
other practices so that they can also do better.
According to the above-mentioned learning strategies and statements I have come to a
conclusion that if I will consider various types of legislative norms then this will help me to
achieve the tasks that I want to perform regarding learning and all will come in place and will be

executed in a very good manner. Along with this, I have seen that the legislature play an
immense role while conducting certain liabilities regarding teachers and students and their
learning and teaching procedures. So I think it is important for me to understand the legislature
in a very efficient way. The legislature impacts the working practices of learning and teaching so
it plays a great role in this. In this investigation regarding teaching and learning, I have gathered
some information regarding Ofsted school standards. In regard to this, I can say that for eminent
maintenance of school decorum and ethics one should follow this standard. The school
authorities should focus and follow this. With the improved and extravagant focus on the Ofsted
standard, I have improved the schooling standard and this has given a well-equipped learning
approach to the students. By approaching for this standard the school can go through several
frameworks that will enhance the learning of the students. Meeting this standard led a school
towards up gradation in many ways. While leading with this I have come to know that this
Ofsted standard is set up by the non-ministerial government so as to amend the students learning
practices in the UK school. This has also given me some information regarding the Education
and Inspection Act 2006 that has helped one in understanding and learning effective learning
style. The younger students what subjects they study and at what time they complete their
qualification for graduation. All these are being discussed in a very good way. This standard
implementation helps the school to go through this type of approaches that they have not
implemented in last year’s. This is my experience of seeing things.
In other hands, I have also focused on the giving appropriate training to the teaching personnel’s
so that they can inbuild within themselves the professional skills when dealing with the young
people that is the age group we are talking about from14-19 in an efficient way. If this will be
improved when the students will come to their teachers with some learning issue and problem so
that they can help the students to solve those issues. We should know the efficiency of students
and behold them with such teaching techniques so that fill free to ask any kind of question to the
teachers. Because every student is different and approaching every student by every teacher
should be different and good.
I have also focused on the sector-specific other forms in order to amend my learning towards my
field of interest. This focusing helped me to improve myself so that I can work more effectively
towards my field of interest and also about the work culture of the industry so that I can attain a

better future. With this, I have also established some effective guidelines and code of practices
for better execution with respect to learning and teaching practices in schools. With all this code
of practices as being mentioned earlier, the learning style will also get improved for the students.
All this helped me to complete the learning process in an efficient manner and complete this task
as being thought by me. This also improved my knowledgeability to a higher aspect. A good
teacher will always help a student to become a good student in regards that student is obedient
and listen to the slaying of his or her teacher.
In other regards, the effective developments in the field of teaching and learning strategies have
helped me to settle up m some learning goals in a most and efficient manner. All this has
provided me with great assistance and helped me in various aspects of learning and teaching and
also helped me to see the loopholes that can be managed and will lead to some improvements in
the field of learning processes in a whole. A well-developed teaching and learning processes will
lead the country and the children of all age group especially the 14-19 age group considered as
adolescents to have a great and secure future with no learning barriers.
The legal framework also creates an impact on the further teaching tactics which will be very
beneficial for the new generation or the young people those who are in the age of the 14 to 19
years of the age range. In addition to this or according to this section it consists of various types
of offers to the trainee teachers. This section also described the institute of funding and the
learning along with the record with the partners. The national policies and legal frameworks help
the learning and teaching aspects of the UK to take it in a very efficient zone. Under the legal
framework there various types of measures those are also included in order to reach the high
standards

upgraded and the improvement are being seen in their learning procedure. The legal frameworks
are also being designed in such a way that it can give benefit to the students so that they can
develop in their future studying. Enhancing the education system by the UK government tells
that how much they are concerned about the development of their country by holding the hands
of their teenagers, those who are the youth of the future demographics. The governmental
initiatives regarding the learning and teaching sector also say that they think about this sector in a
very efficient way.

The age groups 14 to 19 are very much efficient in grasping things as I will always try and help
them to get the best out of everything. out of this school and classroom learning approaches I am
thinking of going through approaches that will help them to develop selflessly that is digital
learning whose key will be in the hands of the teachers. Starting of digital learning I school with
the help of teachers will upgrade the studying capabilities. This will also help the teachers and
students to have online video conferencing with the scientist and researcher to know their views
regarding certain topics. I thought by seeing all the above aspects that I should also implement a
weekly group discussion approach so that every student can share their views regarding their
understanding regarding some topic. On the other hand, I am planning to arrange some
inspirational meetings and conferences for the teachers by giving those rewards for their efficient
and hard working towards the children. The teachers can build a student and at the same time can
destroy one. So by choosing eminent teacher and motivation them for their work will be a great
approach that I can count for. I think it will be better if some professional training is being given
to the teachers so that they can upgrade their teaching styles according to the new age teaching
styles to keep the students upgraded because in today’s world everything is all about up
gradation and digitalization.
The class training by the teacher to the students is a very attractive and old school approach that
helps the teachers and the students to grow in certain aspect in their own ways. The teacher
should always be very understandable to hear the issues of their students and make good
solutions out of that. The development in the fields of understanding each and every aspect and
maintain that decorum throughout has become possible only because of the legislative
framework because it keeps apace among the learning and, managing and teaching aspects. No
one’s true self can be jolted until and unless he or she goes through some path of the protocol as
do a legal thing that helps the society and youth of one country such as the UK.
