Introduction
This report is commonly based on the concept of 15V DC power supply which used the setup of
different technologies among which the common one used is the D4S technologies. This
technology is used because of the so many advantages like it provides environmental strategies
and uses renewable resources instead of non-renewable resources. This report is clear out the
concept of the life cycle of materials. This assessment is also describing the budget, resources
and the duration by using the Gantt chart. It also includes the description of the project in the
lock book form. This assessment defines the scope and benefits and the recommendations
involved in the entire project. DC power supply is selected for due to several reasons as it
provides the facility to use it as for the extension lines and the high set up projects because their
AC supply is not used. AC supply is only limited for commercial purposes.

Projects are considered as the temporary endeavor which is used to create down the exclusive
services and products (Roseke, 2016). The main foundation of the project is defined to find out
the several useful outputs and introduced a new-new technology through which the engineering
aspect can go better. As per on this concept, the recommended topic for this report is the DC
power supply. As DC stands for the direct current. This current is used to supply the electrical
energy along with having constant polarity.
Sources of DC power supplies are the devices that can provide the electric energy having both
types of polarity that is positive and negative. This energy can supply by using the device that
can connect with the main sources and then energy can be transmitted from one input end to the
output end. Input can be generated by using the source like batteries and the generators or the
convertors or cell of fuels. A DC supply can be converted in the alternate current.

In recent days, there are so many devices which use the circuit which can convert into DC supply
from the AC supply. The input device used for the generate the DC power supply is known as

supply but as it transmitted, generated or distributed then also it can in the form of the AC due to
the consideration of using it for economical purpose. DC power supply is mainly used for
performing the operations on high power electronic devices. It's had both types of polarity that it
exists along with advantages and the disadvantages. Its main disadvantage is that it exists with
low voltage and need a replacement constantly. The using cost is also too much high because
conversion elements are used for converting the power. Its main advantage is that it is free from
ripple and have portable for all devices. This power supply is used mainly for the electric load.
Its main function is to convert all the electric energy in the particular current, voltage, and
frequency.

As each professional engineer made the projects in their life and this seems a big task for them
through which they can manage and organize the actions of the projects and create a new
technology for the future purpose (Fasano, 2018). As project planning is too much important
aspect in the field of engineering. Some major importance is: decrease down the cost and provide
the thinking and visualizing broadly.
In this report, the used technology is D4S. D4S is common stands for the Design for
Sustainability (Vezzoli, 2018). It means that this term is contributing to the designing purpose,
research, and the education manner or can also be used to sustainably the different developments
properly.

Design for sustainability is the approach that can be used for general sustainability in the
environment and well knowing about the sustainable to the people. It can be said that this term is
used as an instant reaction to the crises of the global environment and also focused on the details
of the resource efficiency. Efficiency gains can be generated by the understanding the proper
meaning of the efficiency for services and growth of the outpaces. Due to this, the effect can be
decreased down by increasing the impacts of sustainable design. For making the project
sustainable, some rights things should be considered:

Suppose that if the designer designing the construction site then it should be just for that the
designing should follow the sustainability and consume, the energy sources that can be necessary
for the particular project so, that the result can come with efficient way. Some factors that act as
a sustainable factor are recyclability, durability, and the materials used in the project (Manzini,
2018).
This approach is used for designing sustainable devices for the entire project and reduce down
the impacts. This approach can be considered as the inter-disciplinary or the disciplinary which
can be implied as to the fields which include:

enhances the facility for optimizing and maintains the practices that can be used during the
project. This technology improves the efficiency of the project and provides decisions on the
designing phase. This technology reduces the negative impacts of the environment and provides
sustainability to the other process during construction. This type of approach can help in
balancing the life cycles which involves the designing, construction, enhancing, execution,
maintenance, and the closure phase. Sustainable designing is not only beneficial for the
construction but it can also help make the projects which can be related to the electronic and
electrical devices.
The basic use of sustainable designing and the goals are mainly mattering with the construction
and production of a healthy environment. It can also be used to reduce down the maximum waste
or it can be said that it can be used to minimize the waste and provide the specifications for the
healthy environment. This can generate ease with the use of renewable resources or it can also
provide the limitation for the consumption of the non-renewable resources. Due to this use, the
project can be made with some sorts of limitations and generate the effectiveness to provide ease
in the connections and generating the specific structures. This technology provides the support
for making the decision on the basis of the sustainability in the environment and also supports
the one-stop resources that will be online so, that the consumption of the materials will be
reduced down and follow the concept of the life cycle of products and materials which is based
on the principles to maintain the sustainability. This technology is used in the project due to the
reasons which discussed in the above paragraph and also due to sustainable tools which are too
effective in cost and preferable for the small projects as well as the large projects that can be set
up.
