1. AUTOMOBILE TECHNOLOGY: In the 20th century, the history of technologies have
enhanced in a gigantic way. The mass production of the different businesses and the
transportation of these goods to the customers has led to a great advancement in the automobile
technology. This technology have various application in this new era and are very useful in every
industry. The technology aims at move something or someone from one place to their destination
quickly (Hakansson).
2. JET ENGINES: The advancement in the automobile technology also help the military
departments to introduce the jet engines which help them to secure their border and also help
them to attack their enemy troops quickly.
3. TELEPHONY AND RADIO TECHNOLOGY: The telephony and the radio technology also
developed hugely and was spread across all the people of the world. This technology also help
the people to communicate with each other in an effective and efficient manner.
4. ENGINE TECHNOLOGY: The engine technology was also developed after the Manhattan
Project that heralded in new Atomic Age.
5. NUCLEAR TECHNOLOGY: The development in the engine technology includes
enhancement in the nuclear power. The energy and the engine technology developed the
efficiency of the energy production and the enhancements in changing the energy from one form
to other also developed.
6. ELECTRIFICATION: The advancements in the electrification was highly evolved in the 20th
Century. In the beginning of the 20th century few people had the capability to afford electric
supplies in their city (Birkinshaw). The development in electrification allow the city people to
afford the electric supplies easily.

7. WORLD WIDE WEB: The invention of the WWW (World Wide Web) also help the people
to afford the electric supplies in their homes and working environments.
8. GENETIC ENGINEERING AND AI TECHNOLOGY: In 20th century the birth control was
also a remarkable topic where the technology was used widely. Some developments in the birth
control include electron microscope, genetic knowledge and theories also developed and are
widely used in controlling the birth of a child in the health care. Thus, development in the
genetic engineering also increases the flexibility in operations of various health cares (Savoia,
Stefanovic and Fragassa). The “test tube baby” was first born in 1978 which led in huge
enhancement in the gestational surrogacy pregnancy. The vaccination had hugely expanded in its
application in the late 1980s because of few successful humanitarian activities.
9. COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY: In the 21st century there are many remarkable developments
like quantum computers, 3D printing, gene therapy, bio technology, drones. Scramjet, nuclear
technology, wearable electronics, powerful LEDs, integrated circuits, wireless power devices and
rechargeable batteries. The concept of the particle physics is also developed in the 21st century by
inventing the greatest hadron collider (Pierog et al.).
10. INTELLIGENT RADARS: The gravitational waves can now be measured by some
underground detectors such as LIGO. Innovative spaceflight and spacecraft are also developed
such as the SpaceX’s Dragon 2 and Boeing’s Orion. These space crafts are also used in various
space researches. There are many space telescopes yet to be invented such as the Colossus
Telescope.
