Executive Summary
Environmental issue is most concerning for the present livelihood of the planet. It hampers the
global ambience with abnormal changes happening due to global warming and subsequent
results for the livelihood of the world. Although major concern about this climate change is
raised by the responsible communities, globally, the efforts are not sufficient enough due to its
limited approach. The impact of climate change may impact the global environment with
probability of flooding, causing insufficient production of food grains and with other allied
issues. Main issue of environmental change is reckoned as the increasing use of fossil fuel over
the planet. The referred issue is covered by a campaign named Campaign 350.org, which is
growing globally within the general people with its awareness program to make the people
understand the evil impact of using fossil fuel. (Mackibben, 2010) This campaign can make the
people aware about the impacts of increased use of fossil fuel in the climate with subsequent
hardship the global livelihood have to face for this use of fossil fuel. The only alternative to this
problem is encouraging use of non-conventional renewable energy by exploiting solar, air and
hydro–based source of energies. This concept is encouraged by the campaign with three
objectives – to provide transitional path to renewable energies; banning of fossil fuel projects;
and restricting finance to all fossil fuel industries. (Dupere, 2015)The evil impact of using fossil
fuel is highlighted by the leaders of this campaign by introducing power holder map. With the
continuous increasing awareness of this problem, different communities of labor and groups of
human rights with varieties of institutions like universities and sensible people favoring this
change have raised their voice globally to keep the planet livable for the livelihood in proper
and livable environment. (Neville, 2015)
Conclusion
The referred Campaign 350.org is raising voices globally to address the problem of environment
pollution by increasing use of fossil fuel. This campaign is run with three objectives. First
objective is to provide transitional paths to alternative source of renewable energy in the form
of solar, hydro-based and air with their use to restore environmental ambience for the global
communities. The second objective is to put ban on the existing projects on fossil fuel. The third
objective is to ensure restriction of finance for the fossil fuel industries in global perspective.
These objectives can clearly raise awareness between the sensible people globally to combat
the problem of global environmental disturbances, which are causing the environmental
change by increasing temperature globally with resultant effect of more flooding; gradual

reduction of food grain production; and other related issues. Change350.org mission
highlighted power holder map, which can project the present status of fossil fuel use and its
subsequent effects enabling the global community understand of its direct impact on the use of
fossil fuel. It is not possible to reduce or make the use of fossil fuel zero instantly, but with
continuous awareness program and different other activities, global stakeholders can
understand the evil effect of using fossil fuel and try to find the suitable alternative for the next
