Executive Summary
This current report is based on the application of 3D painting and its effectiveness in the context
of modern business. However, in the recent years such 3D printing has been using rapidly in the
business sectors to develop 3D object design process. Hence, it has been received that such
application of 3D printing is valuable for the modern business to develop their product feature.
This process is also called additive manufacturing process in the business industry. Due to the
rapid enhancement of the 3D printing many traditional manufacturing processes are currently out
of market that is a big concern in the business industry.

Introduction
3D printing is the application of the modern technology in the recent years that allows the
business to develop 3D design in their product. This can attract the customers easily. Any objects
can be designed in the form of the 3D model by the application of digital model data. Thus it is
also called additive manufacturing.
1. Discussion of the reasons for which 3D printing is called additive manufacture
Additive manufacturing and the 3D printing both focuses on the three-dimensional object
designing. However, in this process, the layer of the objects is developed by the computer control
(Kamyshny and Magdassi 2017). On the other hand, electronic data sources are also used to
develop the design of the 3D object, which is known as additive manufacturing. Hence, the 3D
printing involves in generating a 3D model with the help of electronic data source or additive
manufacturing process. Thus, it is called additive manufacturing.
2. Role of 3D printing in high or low volume production
3D printing is applied for both high and low volume of production. Injection model is a
traditional manufacturing process for the mass production. In comparison to the high and low
volume of production, 3D printing is considered as the more economical in context of low
volume of production (Guo et al. 2017). In order to reshape and manufacture of the product, 3D
printing is crucial. This process saves money and the time of engineer during the testing of
prototypes. In the case of small industry, 3D printing eliminates the labor cost and enables the
organization to develop the low volume of production with high quality.

3. Analysis of the situation that makes 3D printing most valuable
The manufacturer often faces high labor cost and huge time during the manufacturing of
attractive products. Application of 3D printing is an effective process for the rapid manufacturing
through the elimination of labor cost (Weller et al. 2015). On the other hand, often the customers
need attractive products. In this situation use of 3D printing is the most valuable approach to
meet the need of the current target market.
4. Reasons to forecast the 3D printing in context of leading research and investment firm
Leading research and investment firms forecast for the 3D printing, as it is a popular
technical process in the manufacturing in the recent years. However, the leading research
forecasts on this process to develop more new features in this technology. This will maximize its
application. On the other hand, investors also focus in this process to identify its future market
demand. This will allow them to invest in a business that uses 3-D printing technology. In order
to detect the profitability form the application of the 3-D printing in future influences the
investors to forecast its application (Campbell et al. 2011).
5. Role of 3D printing to make the traditional marketing obsolete
Injection model is a traditional manufacturing process that is no longer useful in the
recent years due to repaid development of the 3D-printing process (Ben-Ner and Siemsen 2017).
On the other hand, 3-D printing has affected the traditional marketing process, which uses
manual handling process to develop product design. Many traditional manufacturing processes
are out of the market for the emergence of 3D printing. This affects many manufacturing
industries who use traditional marketing process as reduction of the labor and adoption of 3D
technology quickly is difficult for them.

Conclusion
In the recent years to produce the low volume of the products 3D printing is beneficial. .
However, it is difficult for the small enterprise to adopt such 3D technology quickly and
eliminate the labors as 3D printing is a costly process and needs advanced equipment and
technical experts. Hence, it can be concluded that 3D technology has both positive and negative
effects on business.
Recommendations
Use of skilled employees will be helpful to access the 3D technology.
Application of new features in the product by using the 3D manufacturing process will
enhance the business.
Managing financial resources will be helpful to adopt 3D technology easily for an
enterprise.
