Reflection is a process in which an individual describes its feelings and learnings in
written format. This report will cover how the three weak learning has helped me in enhancing
my communication and collaborative skills for my future career.
Gibbs Reflective cycle
In the week 3 or entry three I have learnt about the professional presentation skill. I was
very excited when my teacher has made announcement of this skill. Along with me, my friends
are also exited in learning about this skill. This is a reflection model which is used to reflect the
experience and personal learning of individual. This contains five stages which are as follows:
Description:
Entry 1: In this report I have learned about the communication and importance of it in our daily
routine and it is defined as an act by which exchange of information takes place between
persons. It helped me to improve my skills to interact with other person in an organization and
are in various modes through which I can communicate with my fellow members. It is also

Weaver model I have learned that there is complete process how the information goes through
various communication channels such as from sender to the receiver. It is considered as the fast

communication process to send the information to a person. It is very easy procedure through
which the ideas can be received by the person to whom it is sent. It enables us to pass the
relevant information through various channels (Roberts, 2017).
Entry 2: The learning of the second week was communication in which I have learnt about
internal and external communication along with the various factors which affects the choices of
communication. I have learnt the three methods of communication such as oral, written and
visual communication. This plays important role in the life of the individual. The same case with
me also because before this learning week I was unable to express my views and thoughts to my
colleagues (Saidaminov and et.al., 2020).
Entry 3: before knowing what presentation skill is all about I was thinking that this skill is very
tough but after knowing about this skill I came to know that this skill is easy because the only
thing which is to keep in mind is confidence level (Bass, Fenwick and Sidebotham, 2017). I
believe that individual who is giving presentation should be enough confidence but nervous can
be easily see from the body language of the presenter.
Feeling:
Entry 1: Communication as action is a transfer of message and is considered as simplified
model. In this the message is transferred through various channels to the receiver. The
communication skill helped me to express myself in a very clear way both in expressly and
orally. It helped me to convey my fellow members information in a very simple way so that the
important part of the information is received by them. Through good communication, I felt
enthusiastic and part of the organization. Through this skill our team members worked
effectively and understood which part is being communicated (Saidaminov and et.al., 2020).
Entry 2: My current skills level in the communication is too low because I am unable to express
my feelings and thought in crowd. The impact of which I also do not take participate in any
debate competition. But now I am able to communicate both orally and written to anyone. This
has basically plays crucial role in enhancing my confidence level. Basically, I have strong
analytical and problem solving skills where I can easily solve the critical issues without any
support from others. Thus, my own skills set is problem-solving and team working skills
(Roberts, 2017).

Entry 3: the experience of learning professional presentation skill was good. I also get idea of
how to make power point presentation because professionals require this skill as they need to
given presentation many times in their career (Stoner, and et.al (2017)). While making
presentation slides should contain content in bullet points, so that it can be easily explained by
the presenter. Presentation should also includes images because presentation without images will
look boring. In order to engage audience it is required to use images while making presentation.
Evaluation:
Entry 1: Before I used to feel a bit nervous while communicating with the fellow members and
nervous to interact with the people easily but through this learning I focused on improving my
communication skills through interacting and participating in every activity and listened others
opinions. I focused on asking question to the managers and often participated in presentations
and took initiative to solve issues of the company. Apart from this, I tried to build informal
interactions among the workers in the firm (Jones, Bion and et.al., 2020).
Entry 2: The impact of communication learning over my current set of skills is that now I can
solve the problems and also able to communicate the same with my team members. Now, I am
able to prepare my project assignments on time along with that I am also able to present my
assignment to against the manager. This learning has helped me in communicating my
information to my workplace colleagues on face to face (Otte, Konradt and Oldeweme, 2018).
Entry 3: week three went well because I believe that my tutor is experienced and have
knowledge about this skill. He has explained this skill by showing professional power point in
the class and after the topic gets completed he has given task to everyone in which we all have to
make presentation and present in the class (Berglund, 2018). Presentation skill also develops
personality of the students. I believe that in order to engage audience presenter should have make
sure that they are asking questions to their audience and also solving their doubts. Presentation
will not able to collect interest of the audience if presenter will not get engage to their audience.
Conclusion:
Entry 1: It acted as motivator to interact with others by reducing the anxiety in me. It is very
important to first listen to the views of others and present our opinions regarding any issue or
discussion. It helped me to develop the areas in which I was lacking behind and improved the
how to make power point presentation because professionals require this skill as they need to

interaction skills among the organization. In this study various principles of communication is
defined that is the message should be in a very concise form so that the receiver understands it
very easily and gives feedback as quickly as possible.
Entry 2: I am feeling very happy about my learning as it helps me in understanding which
method to select when in communication. Now I have got that at workplace I have to use formal
communication at the time of communicating with managers and informal communication at the
time of communicating with employees and colleagues. After the second week, I am able to
conclude that I can communicate with anyone and also able to keep confidential information
secret. It is because in the second week I have also learn that confidential information need to be
keep secret by people at workplace in order to maintain code and ethics (Shi and et.al., 2019).

complete and effective and should contain the relevant information. The communication whether
it is verbal or non-verbal should be communicated in an effective manner. Thus, this study says
that communication is very important in every business.

with the customers as well as internal staffs (Otte, Konradt and Oldeweme, 2018). Along with
that, I will also implement this learning when I will start my own business. This skill helps me in
enhancing my business brand value and interacting with the customers to know their issues and
demand. The implementation of communication skills will definitely helps me in increasing
