Being a social worker requires you to have 100% attention to the
person you are working with and listen to the individual and understand
their problems and struggles whether they seem small or big to the worker.
They must be able to pick up on possible signs of abuse and must have a
very precise attention to detail as a little piece of information could make a
huge difference behind closed doors, for the victim.
Employees must access a situation and rate the severity and urgency
of the case, although all cases are important- some cases are way more
extreme than others and need immediate attention.
2.3. Identify your company’s skill gaps, then chose one role and create an
advert with the skills required and their roles and responsibilities.
I believe that what is needed for our business is a person that has more than 5
years’ experience in order to take charge and give ideas which could help the
business grow and expand.

Section Three
The market/customer profile.
3.1 Describe your target market profile and where are your proposed
customers based:
The target profiles we are aiming towards are individuals over the age of 18 and
families having domestic abuse problems. This will be for people that are victims of
domestic abuse that need someone to speak to or urgent help without the abuser
finding out or whoever is involved in the situation. Customers are based anywhere
depending on whether they’re a temporary customer or a long-term customer.
3.2 Describe your perceived competitive advantage/USP:
I believe our competitive advantage is that we are available on social media and
people are meant to contact us in the privacy of their own home and the discretion
they need. We are able to speak to the client whenever and however is easier to
them, they are able to contact us in whatever way is best for them. Sometimes,
victims are unable to make phone calls as their always with their abuser, so we allow
the chance to message through social media.

4.3 Marketing strategy
(In support of your business social media campaign, describe your
marketing and branding strategy, with reference to researched materials.
Identify the most appropriate strategies, (You may consider a 4 or 7ps
etc. )
Marketing mix-
Product: The company is dealing in non-profit counselling, consultation and
other services which are required by Domestic abuse victims.
Price: The organisation basically is run on donations provided by the people. It is
a non-profit organisation so it does not charge any amount from the people who
avail these services, although if they willingly want to donate some amount,
they are more than welcome to do so.
Place: The Company is going to operate in Romford, accessible by everyone.
Promotion: We will be promoting through social media and capturing a wide
audience. It is said the 79% of the population uses social media, so this will
capture these individuals’ attention. We will also be putting up posters and signs
around London.
4.3b. How and where will you launch your product or service.
As above information states, we will be making social media pages
around 2 months in advance, to gain an audience and a following. Once we
have started our social media pages, we will be personal messaging social
media influencers and celebrities to ask for their help to spread the word,
this will allow us to gain more followers and reach possible victims.
We will also put posters all around London with our social media tags
and numbers, allowing people to take pictures of the posters if they are in
need to send them to someone in need. Some victims might not have social
media, so having posters will allow them to find the number while they’re
shopping or just out.
